Re: Freaktacular 2016

Yeah, exactly. It's supposed to be fall but not with the weather in the 90's. :(

It's always high 80's over Thanksgiving. :slap

I honestly wake up every day lately totally depressed that there's sun. You're supposed to feel depressed on gloomy days but I'm much happier when I see the cloud coverage.

Same here! I like gloomy days, I love stormy days even more!

Best days for horror! And not feeling like the sun is burning my skin off while I sit inside my house. :lol

I've been planning what I want to give out during spook this year. Still a work in progress. I need to go shopping.

I hear the state of Washington is nice and gloomy.

Which btw, I hope one day when I get a house (and a Wife IF I ever find that special someone...) to make my front lawn a working Jurassic Park gate that opens up with fire and Richard Attenborough's voice saying welcome on Halloween... :lol

I lived in Seattle for a few years, then Houston, now back home in the Midwest in Indiana. There's a reason a lot of horror franchises are fictitiously based in the Midwest. The fall season is the best here, and people do Halloween right! [emoji4]

spirit open?
Yes! I always check them out even though I don't need anything. It's fun to see what's new and to try on different hats and wigs. I always end up walking out with something though, even if it's just a couple of glow sticks/necklaces/etc.

My wife and I brought the kids to a costume store last week, and we had a blast just trying on different masks and hats and wigs. We hadn't had that much belly-laughing in a while. Great fun.
Awesome! Read my comment above! :hi5:

I haven't started decorating yet. We may not do anything for the outside of our house again this year. Too many ****** kids running around ruining or stealing them the last couple years.
Time to dust off that paintball gun and restock on some ammo. J/K by the way. You didn't hear that from me. :lol

OH I know. My wife and I already decorated for fall in the house. I saw Walmart had pumpkins this week and wanted to buy one so bad but not for $5 ea.
Have I been paying too much? I always thought the $4.88/pumpkin at Walmart was a bargain. They're pretty good in size. Most of them are at least the size of a basketball.

Hi everybody! I've missed you all. :)
Hey! Where have you been? Sorry about your A's. I've been there plenty enough times so I know. :1-1:

Yes! As proof, we can look at one of our favorites, Halloween '78. When this movie got remastered a couple of years ago, the director of cinematography, Dean Cundey, finally brought the colors/tone of the picture to be more true to the Fall season. Since it was shot right here in bright and sunny Pasadena (just a few minutes from me), a lot of the foliage was too green. Skies were too blue. If anyone is interested, look for it: Halloween 35th Anniversary Edition on blu. :rock
