Definitely one of the sickest things I have ever seen. The detail in his mouth is unreal.

Interestingly, it looks like the pic lost a touch of it's colour when uploaded here. The pic I was emailed has a bit more blue in it.

And Chris, I would add this pic to the first post in the thread, and ask the mod to change the title to something like Fred barton 1:1 Robocop bust - Painted Pic on Page 1, or something that. I can guarantee this thread will see some more traffic.

BTW, I asked Fred if this was a production piece, and here was his answer:

That is a production piece. The master is never painted….

They will all look like that or better.

That is a production piece. The master is never painted….

They will all look like that or better.

Never had a doubt Fred wouldnt deliver on this. His reputation is on the line with every piece he puts out.

Everything is perfect but i do not like the.fact that it shows his teeth. I hope the lifesize does not have the same face. Which i will be ordering if the face is different

I kinda like the fact that the bust shows a little expression.

No doubt the lifesize version will have the same stoic expression you see in EVERY Robocop collectible so I'm theorizing that Fred didn't want the bust to be just an identical copy of the top part of the full-size.

I know what you mean bro. Its just the face expression reminds of the look he gave before they took him apart in part two. Nevertheless it is awesome!

Received my photo too by email this morning and I am very happy indeed. First impression was like a few, unsure on the teeth but after letting it sit for a while and looking it looks like he is showing some grit and determination there! Dead or alive your coming with me

I think if the teeth weren't done well, I wouldn't like it. But the teeth are beautifully painted and reaaly does add personality to the bust. A dream collectible from one of my favorite flicks.
