:lol

Yeah, I kinda see that in the sculpt. Still kinda on the fence on getting this because of the weird mouth. I wish there was more than one pic of this prototype.

Anyone throw down the $425 for the preorder yet?

I really have to ge this. However I can't even afford the deposit until I sell some bits. Just hope he doesn't sell out.

While I see the similarities, I don't see that in the bust, primarily because in the bust his head is tilted slightly down and his mouth is curved a little. Both these features help sell the badass pose, versus the "OMG, I now remember that I used to sleep with a MILF and now they are gone."

For me this couldn't look more perfect. I just hope there is some weight to the bust as Fred has said it will be quite light. I imagine it will be made of fibreglass but I would like it to weigh at least 6-7kg.

It's not made of fiberglass, rather roto-cast urethane resin. It's lightweight due to it being roto-cast. I don't know much about urethane resin, but apparently it's quite strong.

Anyone have knowledge of this product, and how it differs from the polystone that is typically found in statues, or fiberglass sometimes found on busts?

While i see where you are coming from...i think you are incorrect with your assumption. The pic you posted has an "OH ____" look to it. The bust in no way exemplifies that "OH ____" look. he looks more pissed off & determined than upset & shocked. After comparing the bust to the screen shot...i think Fred's buist actually looks better...if that's possiible but i'm sure it's just the 1987 transfer :wink1: Even so, this is the very best Robocop 1:1 bust ever made and i will be damned if i miss out :yess:
