While I do love the pose, and it makes sense with the doll, I do wish the esthetic approach would have been to be able to see his face and glove at the same time. I'd rather not have to display him sideways, turn him while looking at him, or lean around to see his glove.

Can't believe its $60 more than Jason that came with much more and is a hell of a lot bigger.

Maybe I'll find a regular on eBay for cheap. If not I can live without it, not paying retail that's for sure.

The face looks great, but the price is way too high. Either we got a steal on the price for the Jason part 3 Premium Format figure of this is extremly overpriced. There is no reason a smaller piece should be significantly more expensive than a larger piece with more exclusive accessories. You're better off getting the FvJ piece for $120-$150 less on e-bay.

No way your getting a freddy VS Jason PF for 125.00/150.00 maybe 200.00/250.00 and as far as the Jason goes yeah def a better deal But other than the head the rest of the stuff was kinda Usless I mean it was a good thought but the machete and other hands just made him look akward everyone poses him with mask on and axe anyway basically the same thing here you will pose him the reg way but will want the ex for maybe the print or the low ES number it's up to you but I would get the ex right away I missed out on the Jason ex but will not miss out on this one that being said I'm a little disapoonted In the glove hand like SS said you can't pose him forward and see the glove so it's either or

This Premium Format is awesome.I dont know how you guys cant nitpick that statue.The only thing that bothers me a bit is that hes kinda skinny.The rest is perfection.

pics are amazing but i kinda feel a little disapointed, i would have mich rathered a classic pose that focuses on his glove instead of the doll/skull....i cant remember this pose in any of the movies either can someone refresh my mind? with that said its the first freddy that has come out his i have been really collecting seriously, so i still might have to pick him up.

It's clearly meant to be more of an "essence of" imagining of Freddy. This font/title was not used for the first film, but all the ones after. NECA is the only brand so far to get the figure and packaging right for the first film with their 7".

I still like this and will get it because I didn't like the FvJ PF and safe to say we won't see another. It's at least more iconic to the franchise. I like the boiler room base and wouldn't change it at all. I don't think the sculpt is too skinny, I just think his sweater is too small and too tight.

The exclusive though is a major FAIL. Out of the whole franchise a Predator 1/5 statue skull trophy arm was the most innovative they could get?? :-/ a miniature Elm Street House, or switch out head - maybe like NECA did with skinless face or stretched out arms would have been a much better exclusive. But then I suppose that would make it a first film PF and things are wrong for that.
