I was thinking just how funny it is that about a month ago, people were posting GCs at such a pace that the codes had to be edited out of the threads and mods had to restate the PMing policy; and now, it's just all people asking for gift cards instead.

I think the new policy makes it more of a hassle for people. . .though it could also be fewer gift cards being given out/expiring at the moment.

I see no problems with it. If someone needs one, ask for it. If someone wants to unload one give it away.

if you don't visit the individual forums (where things are stickied) and you only check out the threads on the New Post button, its very easy to bump a stickied thread.

Yeah, I saw they added that too. I don't think Sideshow has given out may gift cards lately so I doubt there will be many to be dumped but I could use one as well.

The one's they gave out at NYCC actually expired the Sunday of the event!

Then people started writing and calling in and they extended the deadline by about 3 weeks. Still a far cry from the over 1 year expiration dates.

Wow that really SUCKS! I got a few from NYCC last year and they don't expire till the end of THIS May...
