I grew up on Jason. My Mom raised me on a steady diet of Michael Myers and Jason, but Jason just stuck with me.

I think it's his absolute inability to take any ____ from punk teenagers that I really like. Or hell, from anybody. He doesn't care. He's unstoppable, unreasonable and has a problem with anyone and everyone. And he'll hack their heads off if they cross his path. I just love it. He's vengeance personified.

I think Jason is, by far, the most iconic of the modern horror psychopaths/monsters, and I can't wait to get the PF. But. . .T1 Arnold is much greater :nana:

I love T1, But Jason is more iconic in my opinion. I collect Iconic characters such as Indy, Alien, Predator and Jaws and having Jason in my collection just feels right...

I was never quite happy with the PF that came out years ago and I was not a s happy with Freddy either but this PF seems to be the one to have if you are a huge Monster/horror fan....

i think now we need a new Boris Karloff Frankenstein Monster

As you all know, I am an even bigger J fan than T fan, though I'm a huge T fan as well, but even I would say Terminator might be more recognizable just because of its more main stream nature, and that's mostly because of the success of T2, but if you're talking sheer number of sequels, Jason is king. And that said, I'll tell you, even little kids who have never seen Jason before freak out when they see him (me) coming at them on Halloween.

Jason and Terminator have always been my two favorite unkillable killing machines. That's why my original avatar used to be this:

I dont know....everyone knows that mask by now. You show 'em that mask, and Jason comes to mind.

Then again, I did see someone put on Freddy's glove in a Halloween store, and say he's going as Jason. :(

So since we got a semi reveal Sunday do we think potentially move information Tuesday with a release either this Thursday or Friday?

I think it might be next Thursday, since we got the peak this week. Giving some time for the photo to float around and for the FB crowd to jump on board.

The point though, is what they said... "Jason." :lol

Thanks for the responses guys. Always fun to see enthusiasm for a movie or movie character, even if it doesn't apply to me. To me The Shape is the modern day boogeyman personified, Freddy is the high concept version of said boogeyman, and Jason just falls somewhere in the middle.

Thinking it over a bit I think I see Jason's niche. The Terminator is technically more "unstoppable," but if you aren't his target he'll politely ask you where Sarah Connor is located and if you don't blow him off he won't drive a car through you. If you're out on a hike and come across him he most likely wouldn't waste any ammo or even take note of you. Not so much if you cross paths with Jason.

If The Shape is the boogeyman hiding in the closet or out in the dark hall and Freddy makes our worst dreams literally come true then Jason is the one to make good on our fears of being stuck in the woods with lions, tigers, bears, or worse.

Do you guys agree or am I still not "getting it?" :lol

Nah, it will be Black and WHITE Friday when we get this guy, no earlier. They said he wasn't quite ready to show yet so I doubt they would have missed it only by a week, it would be by a few at least, so Black and white Friday seems most logical to me.

This should have read "then Jason is the unstoppable mutant killer that would murder the shape and hang him from a tree and make Freddy have nightmares before eating a machete :hi5:

To each there own Khev :wink1:

Jason is a death curse. If anybody is near Jason that person is going to get murk.
