Huh, gotta say I'm surprised at how quiet the reaction has been to this one shipping. I suppose things will liven up with pics, but still. Seems to be a reflection of the life of the line. Needs a pick-me-up in a bad way! I for one am excited to get this one (even though I still wish they were in hobbit clothing instead of orc armor). Gotta complete the fellowship though, so let's see a Merry/Pippin announcement!!

The lack of reaction may be more to the fact that the Twilight Witch-king Maquette and Dark Rider of Mordor PF is the top news these days.
I'm sure, as you say, things will liven up with pics of them, after they ship.

I must say that I do like more the version without helmets....anyway it is wonderful piece of diorama..

Well the version with the helmets on is essentially a statue of two little orcs. It's nice to have, but it just wouldn't make sense for me to hide the faces of two main characters.

Congrats to all getting this and I hope it comes out looking close to the prototype at SDCC...that thing looked beautiful 
Unfortunately had to cancel mine as I've got too many bills to pay this month...and I've got the DROM coming aswell

The exclusive comes with two sculpts though. One of them wearing the helmets and one not. You would only be covering their faces if you so choose to. Also, during that sequence their aim was to look like two little orcs.

Nothing against having options Josh, and I actually have the ex on order! For me (and I like to imagine many others) this one will be displayed with their faces visible though. I think the face sculpts, especially of Frodo, are a definitve highlight of this statue and I really can't wait to see it inhand!

I'm with you in I will be displaying the sculpts minus the helmet. I took your post thinking you meant you'd have to display the helmeted sculpts. I'm stoked to have this coming in.

I can't help, when it comes to this line I'm an ex completist! Happy to get the helmet heads as an option, but the faces are mandatory!
Really stoked as well to get this statue, it's been ages we got some decent Hobbits from LotR!

I have them all for the sake of having options. I agree 110%. I will be showing off those wonderful sculpts. It will be nice to have a statue of Frodo/Sam again.

Excactly Petrolos. Usually you do want to show your exclusive edition but in this case I would stick with normal one

Hi. Is this statue the same scale as the ring wraith statue? And does anyone know if SS is going to keep making LOTR statues in this scale? I have the ring wraith statue and want to get more from this scale but afraid that SS will not make further statues in This scale and my display will look weird. Thanks!
Yeah, its the same 1:6th scale they've been making. Being a part of the same line and all of that. Unless something is going to happen they're going to keep making statues for this line.
