Just check some HK website and find out there is a lot recast for sale around $300, this is not gonna be hard for me to find one now.

The chinese recasts always go for attractive low prices..this is what then lures people in to buy them cos they think they are saving loads of money when comparing to the original SSC...and they will be to a certain extent but trust me...when you see the fake recast infront of you then you'll see straight away why they are offering them at such low prices - even then you will think to yourself that you paid too much cos the paint apps are so bad.

Are you specifically interested in purchasing the MKIII? Cos for a few hundred $$ more you can purchase the new and official SSC MKVII 1:1 bust and this comes with the added light up arc reactor. I know what id do Jye...

material wise definately no as the recasts are made from weak plaster moulds...but it is possible to customise a recast to look as good as the original in regards to paint apps imo

No its not a recast, its mine it works perfectly fine with the a/c adapter.

That day jye picked it up I notice the cheap batteries had bursted... It might just be the contacts needing some cleaning if he wants a refund he's more than welcome.

Don't think it works even I cleaned, I am not worry about refund , I like the bust, need to see if it's normal for me to keep it.

Lights work with the a/c, no problems.
It's with the batteries it's flickering due to my dumb *** leaving the batteries to burst. I didn't even realize it took them and just plugged it in and displayed it and the batteries just sat in there :

I would suggest talking to someone at SSC, maybe they have a way to replace the battery compartment.

Once I get it back I going to try cleaning it real good with alcohol or baking soda to clean the contacts....if it stills flickers I will have to reduce the price to make up for the defect of lights not working right with batteries or stick it on eBay and see what it sells for

Well just got it back cleaned it out with a brush and rubbed alcohol on contacts and bent back a contact put in some fresh Duracells and no more flickering. Will post video and back up for sale

I found when I used the Ikea Dioders to display it, some of the color combinations made the eyes stand out a lot more....
