One possible explanation for Ezra being MIA to be served is that Ezra could be in getting treatment somewhere that has HIPAA restrictions. Anyway, I would think that a settlement will be offered by WBD with NDAs.

Ezra did not look well in that leaked video of Ezra's arrest in Hawaii. But regardless of the narrative Ezra's image is severely tarnished now. I do think WB will release the Flash. And Ezra can't be replaced in it. But how WBD might try to dig out of this hole is going to be a very difficult problem indeed.

Best Business option is to just release the **** film, keep Miller off the promo circuit, and recast next time.

I think they'll basically market it fully around Keaton's return. They already seemed to be headed that way based on the tiny teaser we got, but I think it's an absolute necessity now, else I don't think people will show up. But I agree with the last part- I think it's what has to be done in this situation.

To be fair fans wanted it just not the leto version. Maybe some wanted it but me personally have no interest in that Harley or joker relationship at all. But I still think they are over-saturating the joker. We have this joker and now the Batman joker? Why can’t they just leave that as a one off or include it into the Batman universe? This will only taint the brand and people will get tired of so much Batman content

I personally can't imagine anyone better to play the Joker as a romantic interest than Jared Leto. You have to have someone who Harley can be credibly attracted to.

Anyway, I'm all for it. The whole point of the Elseworlds stories is supposed to be to do wild stuff that could never be done in regular continuity. Westerns, period pieces, future stories, musicals, whatever. The only reason to go out of continuity is to do something experimental and crazy. This is the right reason to do it. The Batman is the completely wrong reason to do it, just to feed a director's ego when his story could easily be reworked to be into regular continuity if he wasn't being so precious about it.

considered the worst incarnation of the joker and nobody likes him. A small amount of people do but not everyone. Idk anyone that was clamoring for more of him and Harley. Also Jared Leto is a joke and an even bigger joke now that morbius is a thing . So him coming back doing joker would be met with criticism and lots of hate.

Also women loved the SS Harley Quinn romance but not so much that joker himself. I can think of plenty of people who could take on joker better than he did.

People want the joker harly dynamic. But not the leto one. Reason why they canned that joker and Harley movie for the pheonix one.

This Joker 2 movie with Phoenix and Lady Gaga is reportedly going to be a musical. So in a nutshell it‘s going to be way offbeat. Hard to imagine it having anything to do with the main MCU-ish continuity that Zaslav reportedly wants to build.

Seems that most CBM vloggers are assuming that Cavill’s Superman will literally start from scratch and reboot the Superman character. I haven’t followed this that closely but is there a trade reporting that definitively?

Imho it will be pretty weird for the audience to pretend that MoS, BvS, and ZSJL never happened. It makes more sense to me to simply build off of what is established and make a couple movies with a more classic Superman. A couple years ago Cavill and Chris McQuarrie had pitched to WB a film set between MoS and BvS. (Which WB rejected.) WBD could also use Superman between ZSJL and the Knightmare future. Imo either is fine. But this approach will heal the split in the fandom more than just rebooting. Because Snyderverse fans will hate it if Superman’s history is erased. If WBD leaves the character basically intact in terms of history and simply gives the audience a more classic Superman (versus the deconstruction in MoS , BvS, and the just resurrected Superman of ZSJL) that should satisfy the majority of the fandom.

But Ledger's was an inaccurate representation of what comic book and cartoon Joker are. Leto's is the closest we've gotten to a comic book-style Joker in the movies to date. What are the options, never use Joker in the DCEU again? Or recast him? We're stuck with a horribly inaccurate representation of Spider-Man with Tom Holland in the MCU, but they're not about to recast him. Leto can give any kind of performance they ask him to give if they have something else in mind. He looks like Joker, that's the most important thing. Leto was not the closest comic accurate joker.
Joker doesn’t have tats
He doesn’t care about Harley quinn
He doesn’t hang out in fancy clubs
He isn’t a flashy 2010s gangster
That was nothing like the joker.
Heath wasn’t perfect but I got more of a joker vibe from him then leto. Heath was a clown maniac while leto was just some boring gangster. I’m sorry . “Gangsta”

He was awful. That scene you posted is absolutely terrible. “I’m an idea” what a stupid line.

The only thing comic accurate about leto is the acid bath. That’s it. Maybe Snyder could do joker better but the SS joker with the dumb laugh and horrible acting was not it. Leto is also overrated and a weirdo with his sex cult.

Also tom Holland comparison carry’s no weight. He may not be 100 percent accurate but he still captures the spirit of the character and is well liked amoung the fans . No Spider-Man was ever 100 percent comic accurate they all had positives and negatives.
