An es of 1250 definitely isn't the way to go if they're aiming to maximize profits. I'm willing to bet that half of these won't sell.

yeah and making left overs into lightup features would be cool, but from what i've seen with my balrog conversion, it would definately be much easier to do while they were making them. instead of after they've been assembled already.
but if these get cheap enough i'll try converting one.
we'll see.I know this is all speculation, but how much do you guys think you'll find Galactus Reg Ed for on E-bay once it comes out? Considering the size, I figured shipping would be pretty heft. So even if it could be found for $160-$170... I would expect $30-$50 s/h fees.
I pre-ordered from my LCS for $225 (including tax)... and am just trying to figure out if I'm going to find a much better of a deal after the fact.
Any thoughts?

IMO..keep your order with the LCS. You'll sleep well at night, knowing you receive an acceptable piece. Ebay will have it for less because most people would rather buy it from a retailer instead.
Do you want to go through all the headache in receiving a damage one from Ebay? The little saving is not worth it in my opinion when you can get it from a retailer.

same here, though it's nice been an international customer. that way i usually get to see lots of in hand pics and opinions before they ship to me. that way i can cancel if the general consensus if negative or if there's been alot of problems with QC. that way a person can get them on the secondary market if the quality is good and not have to worry about damages.
