Hey, guys! Need help here!:monkey2

As you all know, I bought a Galactus bust off e-bay but had to return it for an exchange due to a defect. The seller received it back approximately two weeks ago(tracked) but he hasn't updated me on anything after receiving the blasted thing! Anyway, I'm worried because the 45 days dispute thingy is almost up and I have not heard from the dude for weeks! Sooo, should I file a dispute with paypal now or wait 'til kingdom come for this bastard to e-mail me!?....what say you?

If I were you, I would file a Paypal dispute, just to keep your foot in the door. The seller may be a very nice person but you can never be too cautious. And I'm sure the seller would understand your position, if they were understanding. Once that deadline runs out with Ebay, you really dwindle down your options and recourse.

And not only that, but if the seller received it back two weeks ago and hasn't replied, that in itself is enough to file a dispute IMO. A courtesy email on their behalf should have been sent to at least give you an update as to your order status.

Well, I just got an e-mail from him 10 minutes ago saying he hasn't forgotten about me and that he's waiting for a new from SS...HA!...last time I checked with them, they didn't have any in their inventory!

nah, I think I'll just torture him....I'll probably just send e-mails just to annoy the crap out of him over the course of this week and then boom! DISPUTE TIME!:rotfl

I'll probably should. It's pretty apparent really that this guy's only taking me for a wild ride. Sucks for him though that my currency is stronger now than it was then when I paid. HA!

did you use your credit card through paypal or did you pay with you bank account?? cause if you used your credit card you have up to 90 days to file with the card company.
if not file a dispute right away with paypal imo, cause you could easily forget about it next monday and your SOL then..:monkey1

sweet! your doing the right thing! protect your self. 2 weeks is 13days to long! :rock

i would definitely open a PP claim NOW. Unlikely SS is going to be able to replace an Ex. This will give you the choice of requesting a refund and leave the burden on the buyer to resolve the issue.

What was wrong with it? I hope it wasn't peeling paint , because I wasn't able to order this piece through SS but still managed to secure one (thanks DD) and don't want any issues to arise later down the road.
