:lecture this game got me into RPG's

Nice! Even today that game is kind of bizarre. Loved it though! This was my first RPG:

I'd love to see a decent sequal to Perfecr Dark on the N64.
I know they bought out the HD remake on XBOX Live last year and there was Perfect Dark Zero, but PDZ was pretty poor.
I loved the original and I was gutted when I played PDZ and it wasn't up to par, especially considering it was dev'd by Rare just like the first one.
A new, groundbreaking Perfect Dark would rock :rock

only game i want to see a sequel for is Bayonetta!

I would like to see the original Castlevania games have an update.

Id love a remake of this, but id be worried capcom would murder it like RE. I always though this was actually better than RE, the first one at least. I adored it;

Dino crisis was great back in the day love to see it remade

Dino crisis Remake? ____ yeah!! RE, Parasite Eve, Soul Reaver, DC and Syphon Filter are my fave PS1 games.

I think we should see other people

Hear me out!!!!!

DC had a hell of a lot more suspense than RE. It came out just before RE3 didnt it. It wasn't zombies, the enemies were much smarter. The environment was brilliant, there was a hell of alot of areas to explore. I loved how you used the ventillation system to move around, I loved how you had the electric security grids for protection. I loved upgrading your 3 weapons, I loved walking with your weapon readied.

There was a truly intriguing story, which I thought was better than RE. I loved the choices and how they truly did affect the ending unlike the RE games.

Gail, Rick and Tom were brilliant characters, unique personalities and you could allign yourself with either and/or both. It was very unique in that it was dinosaurs. You never saw survival horror games with dinosaurs. Velociraptors, Compsognathus, Pterodactyl, T-rex and Therizinosauraus' were all very good enemies.

SDK puzzles were awsome. Instead of finding a shield key, you had to find the SDK's and work out the letters corresponding with the numbers to get the passwords.

The soundtrack was awsome and added alot of tension. The puzzles never felt forced either. Like why would a mansion have all these puzzles, but the password puzzles, the coil puzzle and the crane and crate puzzles all felt pretty solid. Survivors putting the crates stacked to try and stop any dinosaurs from getting in was well thought.

I genuinely think the first DC beat RE2. I know, people would say sacrilige, but DC had something RE didnt. I cant put my finger on it, but I found it much more interesting. I liked the choices and how they truly impacted the game. Take Tom for example. If you saved him, good job. later on, rick would be getting him to the medical room and a velociraptor would take them both by surprise and Tom would sacrifice his life for Ricks and it would affect rick.

If you choose to go after Kirk, then you lose ricks favour. Either gail dies, Kirk Dies, Tom and Gail survive, or all 3 survive with kirk captured.

You either escape on the Boat or in the helicopter.

I did quite like DC it has more to do. Certain areas kind of had the Camera following you like Code Veronica too which was nice. And it would be terrifying if you were walking through an area and you would hear a door and a Raptor would come walking through it. (Dont know how they managed to work the door knob though!)

DC did always scare me more than RE. But i think ive only ever completed the first, got half into the 2nd and not touched the 3rd (even though i have them still)

I actually may continue my play through of them i still have the save files

Yeah, RE3 took the decision making system from DC.

I loved it. I loved how you could use the steam to block raptors for abit too. Kind of like what capcom then put into RE3 with the zombies! quite a few touches from DC went into RE3. It also had quick time events too didnt it. Wasn't it one of the first games to have QTE actually then?

I think, with Jurassic Park being out, and Lost World coming out at the same year, It was perfectly timed. It was a huge game. From the roof, comms compound, helicopter port, docks, extensive laboratory and 3 different floors fully fleshed out plus the basement. It was a very large and immersive.

From the dead scientists strewn around, damaged environments, interaction with survivors and/or hearing their story trying to survive. Dead Space took that from DC too.

It was just an awsome game. the 2nd one I didnt like much. It was a run and gun and it lost alot of what was great. But, I loved the under water section. Thats what Revelations shouldve done instead of sucking hugely just for swimming.

Also, heres my two favourite tracks;

Hey nacho, your sig reminded me of how much I loved The Warriors game!

Could do with a sequel. I know they did a comic where they busted out Ajax, but could do with a game, or a remake of the first one.

That game was truly phenomenal. Id say it was one of the greatest games of the previous generation.
