Gaming Heads 1/4 Lara Croft

I actually just got this in half an hour ago, for some reason in person those details look much better, so I don't think I'll mess with it at all.

Here are some pics (I have a really old camera, so hopefully these aren't too bad). Please note that this is directly out of the box, so there's still a lot of dust on it and some styrofoam particles, as I haven't cleaned it yet, at all.

Here are the only two gripes I have with this piece:

The right side of the back seems to be in a somewhat unnatural position.

And her right shoulder cuts in very weirdly between the shirt straps and the leather "back holster" strap. It's hard to capture it though.

wow, wicked pics! If mine turns out close to that I'll be super happy I held on to my preorder.

Not the version of Laura that I'd find very iconic to Tomb Raider, but this statue does look rather impressive. I might have to pick it up later, as I'm currently playing through the new game.

I emailed them, two days ago. They said the payment notice will be sent next week, and the statue will ship one week after that.

I stand by my statement that this piece looks great! I'm not getting her but I loved the game and never understood the hate people are pouring on and cancelling preorders and such.

Didn't think I wanted the EX cuz the bow is so iconic but I ordered a pretty cool cloth Lara poster off the bay, has her tying up a wound with her bow strapped to her back. I think it'll look pretty sweet behind her with the EX on display- get the feel of both weapons.

Did the same kinda thing with my EX JSC Spidey, display the ex smirk head with an enlarged fully masked comic background- sweet effect

Might be tough though, the bow doesn't fit over her to be positioned anywhere close to what it is on that picture, plus anytime you'd look at the statue from the side you'd see her hand hanging from the bow.

Actually I was just talking about displaying the EX with just the bow in the background on the poster... But you've given me an awesome idea! Darnit, I'm gonna have to make time for all these projects haha. After I get her and the poster I think I'll try to make a scale bow out in the workshop- shouldn't be too difficult, thanks!



hmmm... will be tricky if there are no gaps between her arm and chest tho- may not work, but I'll see if I can rig something
