It says in the details it has a new articulated body, but it doesn't say how many points of articulation. Doesn't usually say how many? I'm thinking it doesn't because there are only the standard 5 plus the wrists. SS doesn't want to scare everyone off just yet.

Good call on the ankles... looking at the pictures there is a definite joint there, and I actually think its a ball; notice the curvature of the ankle into the foot.

Downside is they removed part of the leather sandal to make it happen.

I'm wondering if this means there will be ball jointed hips as well? That would explain the extra large diaper.

I certainly hope so. I can't see why you'd need ball jointed ankles if he only has swivel hips.


Hasbro does this set up sometimes with their 3 3/4" SW figs...bugs the hell out of me. In their case they give the fig ball jointed knees with swivel hips and non-articulated ankles...makes the awesome knee joint pretty much useless

unless this piggy comes with articulated knees, ball joint hip and ankles would only provide very limited articulation. Still, better to have them than not, I suppose.

I would guess that would help to get the feet laying flat in a few different poses. Which is nice if you're going to have more than one of these.

I was actually looking forward to ordering one of these, until I noticed the lack of articulation. I can't justify picking him up for the price with so few POAs.
