I don't think he should be on the tall body but at this point I wouldn't complain as long as we're getting him. Now if for some reason he goes on the tall body and they give Saruman the short body and ape arms I might actually start to complain.

Saruman should be taller than Gandalf, though I'm not sure if using the "Jaws" body from the James Bond line would be correct...

As for Leia having a smaller body, do you mean to say that the Leia figure yet to be released is shorter than the Boushh Leia figure?

I am sure both Leia's will be on the same base body.

Can this be true!!
I've been waiting for Gandalf since the line kicked off!!
Sweet!!!
I wonder if they'll announce it next week though?
Come on Sideshow! The cat's out of the bag already!!

The Thing PF should be at least announced this coming week, I wonder if they'll make mention of Gandalf at the same time.... The next week is Spooktacular so if they don't I wouldn't expect it until November.

Just my opinion, but they might also have leia posed bending over a bit, as if to put the plans into R2d2. a pose like that might be hard to see from this angle, AND Would make her appear shorter.

I can't believe I never checked this thread. I thought it was a preference thing.

Anyway, clearly that's our 1/6 12" real-clothed GTG in the case. He does look tall relative to Leia, which is good -- both because GTG is tall and Leia should be short.

It can't be a statue because you can see the faric sweeping oddly near his feet. Also, he looks to be leaning up against the wall, and a statue would have a more dramatic pose I would think.

Looks good! Give me Gimli and I'm outta here. :)

If we have to have another good guy, GTG is definitely at the top of my list. But I'm getting a bit worried that we'll get the fellowship and no one for them to kickass against?!?

And thats just not right :lecture

I completely agree. I love my villains.

I expect Saruman after GTG. Then, Gimli. Then maybe a Ringwraithe or Lurtz. Then Merry & Pippin.

That's my long-term prediction. Of course, it will take nearly a year to see if its true. :lol

...perhaps somewhere in that shelf is a new PF creature for the LOTR line .... right?...right? :uruk-hai

Ugh, someone had to say it. i can pass up Sauromon. i can pass on orcs, Goblins and urc-hai. i CANNOT pass on a ringwraith. For that matter, I'd probobly get 9 wraiths.

Atleast I don't mind getting thesse on the secondary market.

and it all hinges on Gandalf and Ghimli. unless they make both of them, I'll not get them all. i will get Gandalf, regardless. I'd get Gimli if they made him, and not Gandalf. And with just one of them, i could stop there.

But if they make both, i know I'll end up getting the fellowship. i took down my Fellowship toys a while ago, becuase they just did not look that good.
but Once I start wit this set, I'll not be able to look back.

My personal list:
Gandalf the Grey : Must have
Gimli: must Have
Strider: worth getting, but not on his own
Legolas: Same as strider, bit If i had just Gimli, i'd probobly get him
Sam: same as Strider
Frodo: Same as strider
Boramir, Same as strider
Merry And pippin: Well, if I've got the entire rest of the fellowship , might as well :)
