Yes... where are the bad guys? Or the secondary guys? Females? Look at the SW line: it's going so well, SSC could make a 12" of the guy that shines Vader's boots off screen, and it would sell! Sideshow keeps on throwing 1/6 scale two-minutes-screen-time characters-of-no-importance* at our heads, but for LotR, we're not even sure that we are going to get the entire fellowship! Not that I care about the fellowship too much... I want a ringwraith, Haldir, an Uruk Hai (berserker)... one of the females, Bilbo, ...

There really is SOOOO much potential for this line. I hope they build off of their success with these figures and take advantage of it.

I'd say Saruman and Ringwraiths/Witch King are the most likely villains to see, they're much simpler to do than Orcs and Sauron.

Not likely to happen, but how cool would it be if they came up with a way to use LEDs and such to make an Eye of Sauron piece as a back drop for the 1/6 figures, just the top of it at like 14-16" tall would work great.

I still think this is a job for HT and SS. If HT can do figures like Iron Man they should be able to pull off Sauron.

I have no interest in a 1/6th Sauron figure. I've already got the amazing SS/Weta statue.

But Saruman is tops on my list for the first Baddie.
Easterling, Mahud, Orc's & Uruk-hai's as well.

I guess I should throw in Gollum/Smeagol in as well.
