Nice as Gandalf is, I would've picked Sabretooth. You'll get more mileage out of the Marvel PFs than you ever would with LOTR. Sideshow's proven time and again, that they have absolutely no commitment to the LOTR license which is really a shame considering it's produced arguably their best work. :monkey1

"Mileage"?

____ that, Gandalf is 10 times the PF Sabretooth is. If I could only have one I would ditch Sabretooth in a heartbeat.

Yeah, I don't get the 'milage' bit either.

If one was trying to amass a comprehensive collection of PF's then Marvel may be the way to go. But if you want one iconic PF you can't beat that Gandalf.

Yup. And Gandalf is. But if you're looking to get into a line, and expect Sideshow to be dedicated, the LOTR PF line is not the right place to start. :lol

You don't really need any PFs to go with Gandalf, he displays very well alone too, is a fantastic piece and an iconic representation of the series.

I agree :lecture

Nam just needs to be argumentative about everything. Pay him no mind, he'll eventually go away.

Sabertooth would be pretty lame on his own but he is bad ass. On the other hand if there's one piece that could stand on it's own as a representation of LOTR it would be the GTG PF...

I dunno... I'd have to know what you collect and what you own to really give advice but I'd rather have Gandalf.

And like King said, pay NAM no mind... I've been holding back sex from him for over a week now so he's getting cranky.

I sure hope Gandalf corrects this trend; a wonky Morgul Lord isn't doing us any favors.
