This line is going to have to be my only Sideshow until all the debt is paid off. It has been decided. Every piece thus far has been excellent and I am invigorated seeing newly converted freaks coming to the line after the pre-order for Boromir. Nice!

Yep, got #73. Just super pleased with it. I had seen it at SDCC last year and had a really tough time choosing between the PF and the maquette. It was a tough decision to abandon the PF line, but getting Gandalf so quickly (with Aragorn due tomorrow) makes it easier. There is a level of detail and dynamism that only comes with a fully sculpted piece. I am happy to jump on board this line, and I look forward to seeing where it goes from here.

Got the EX last week but unfortunately I need a replacement, sword is broken, eyes color do not match, one eye is painted much darker than the other eye. Got a return label will ship his ass back to sideshow Monday. Hopefully I'll get a good replacement.

My very first Lord of the Rings statue arrived today! Gandalf the Grey EX #378/400. I do have to say, I was a little worried because I bought him over the PF, but he is very impressive! I am happy!

congrats on the purchase northernladMSP he was my first lotr statue too. then i realized how awesome this maquette line is gonna be specially SS announcing that they intend to complete the fellowship. so i got aragorn EX from a very reliable board member and he is just as stunning. imagine how awesome this line would be with legolas coming out this 4th Q of this year and boromir and gimly for next year. will post pics on this thread with my two statues later.

go to the forums and click on the "want to buy/trade" section. post a thread there saying you want to buy one. thats how i got mine from a very reliable board member here. you dont know what your missing with aragorn bro. aragron statue has the best likeness to the actor viggo mortensen. it just looks like the actor itself shrunk to 1/6th scale.
