It's a great piece. I know some found the pose too dramatic for GTG, but whenever I see it I think of the moment in the book where he confronted the Ringwraiths at Weathertop.

nothernladmsp because of ur pics i finally bought this bad boy:hi5:

WOW, well thank you, that's such an awesome compliment! :dance

He is very impressive, and I love his heroic pose. Getting him and seeing how well done he is, I have every intention of continuing with this line. I am going to get Aragorn, Legolas and definitely the new Ringwraith. I'm undecided on Boromir and Gimli, not because they're not amazing statues, but because they're not some of my favorite characters.

I don't think I'll be a completist of the line, but will get all of the characters I really love. I would love to see them do a Galadriel, a Sauramon, a Gollum, a Morgul Lord and a Frodo in this line.

Just moved Gandalf upstairs to the collection room in favor of Jason PF taking the spot downstairs for the Halloween season.

Still, such an awesome piece and I voted for him as my favorite. When I placed him back next to Aragorn in the collection, it was like, wow, amazing collection is brewing here...

I am on the waitlist for the EX Legolas, I actually like his EX daggers, so I'm hopin' that converts. Then I need to get ahold of an Aragorn, would prefer the EX, but the regular will do.

I'm not sure on getting the other three (Gimli, Boromir and Arwen) yet, we'll see later on after they're released.

oh you mean the elven long knifes:lecture jkjkjk i just got the regular version but i hope you get him :hi5:

LOL yes, the Elven knives. I like them.

I'm dying to see the new Ringwraith maquette, I would love a switch out head with the Morgul Lord crown.

Funny I dislike the knives on legolas and do think the ex on aragorn is a must because the hooded version just looks so much different than the unhooded version. But you can save some money by getting the aragorn reg. One sold on eBay for 150 dollars last week.

finally this bad boy came in hes huge...well from what i expected lol but anyway he is amazing:)

Can somebody clarify the size on this for me. SS has it listed as 17.5 with the Strider listed as 14.5, but that pic makes them look about the same size.

SNAP! I just realized that Strider had an additional base there. lol my bad!

Y'see, the GTG looks quite good in that photo.... if only they hadn't made the cloak so 'superhero-ey', and dirtied up his robes a bit, add a bit of texturing....

Agree with Josh here. In person there is a lot of tiny detail and especially texture that really brings the sculpture to life. The billowing cloak, I can't help you with. But it looks amazing in my display.
