The pose looks so much better with his sword in hand. The head seems a bit off, but I still really like this. The costume is just amazing.

I think one of the problems is the rather narrow shoulders, which makes the noggin look huge.

THATS IT F&F you nailed it!!! Thats exactly what makes it look weird its like a 10yr olds body with the head plonked on top, what about shoulder pads for the Exclusive!!!!

I don't know why but the pics up at CTR really make me want to get this now. I would just rather him to have both feet flat on the ground. He looks beautiful. Maybe I could just get some control and wait another 15 years to get the Grey.

Debatable at the moment for me. If I finally score a Lurtz exclusive, I may sway and get him just for completist's sake.

I would say say $300 just because he's a little bit smaller than Lurtz but that may mean nothing when one factors into it the detailed costume, who knows, but I'd say its around that figure, less than that I hope, but only a fools hope........

Actually the shoulders aren't that narrow. It may appear that way because of how the hair flows into the cloak. I think once this ships people will be disappointed they didn't get it.

Gambit I don't think so at all, this will sell out and I do believe that despite the complaints from us all at the moment when it ships and a few of us have it in hand and post pictures then the rest who didn't buy one might be a teensy bit sorry. I'm buying it and I hope I am right!!!

If it looks like the pics then I WILL NOT regret not ordering this. I hoped Frodo would look better in person but the fact is that it does'nt look anything like Mr Wood. The new1/6 doll is a much better representation of him. Maybe if someone talented enough they could try cutting that god awful head off and replace it with the GTW bust head.Would like to see that attempted!! Any of you artists out there who do the excellent mods and customs thought about this??

I agree with Gambit. I didn't get Frodo, I've seen him live and in terms of likeness it's a pass. I don't regret not getting him and he's still to be had! The pose with GtW PF is weird, what a lost opportunity. I really don't know what SS is thinking at times. Lurtz is awesome, Frodo face BAD, GtW meh (pose BAD) so I think I can (almost) be happy that the completist in me for PF is not awakened.

I have been sucked into the 12" though, now with the hobbits.

The shoulders definitely look narrow in just about all of the pics I've seen so far. Perhaps in person it's not as noticible, but in the pic below, it's definitely obvious:

The outfit does indeed look beautiful. I'm waiting for the "Grey" version of Gandalf but I wouldn't mind having both as bookends in a display.

I concur....People said that Frodo would be better in person and some would regret not buying it. I don't think it looked any better in person or in owner pics and don't regret not buying it. SS should regret that the 1:6 and "Crack" Frodo look much better than the PF does.

On a positive not, GTW is not as bad as Frodo. The likeness is there, but some tweaks need to be made. If SS does some alterations, GTW has the possiblity to be a very good statue, whereas Frodo was DOA.
