I think so Josh, I think the drape and line of the cloak is throwing off the statue somewhat in fact as you look at it the piece of cloak draping on the left side (Gandalf's right) I thought it might have been his leg under it like he was lunging which would have been ridiculous, its not thankfully!!!

That's what I thought. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't totally nuts.

I'm in the minority, but, I like it. This and the Godfather are my 2 locks for ordering from SDCC this year. I'm on the fence for Robocop (depends on price, and if its metal or not).

Likeness of Gandalf the White is not that great, the best I have seen is the Gandalf the White Bust.

On most occasions I try to do this, but after PF Frodo and the long wait of this unveiling it's hard to hold back.

the white or the clothes don't bother me at all... it's his pose with his chin tucked in... looks like someone Farted! I can't get over it.

It also really bothers me how the cape is flowing all over the ground behind the base. The pic from the show is even worse in that regard. This length of the fabric reminds me of how off the Vader PF cape is.

1) Most of us aren't going to see it "in person" in a few more hours, since most of us aren't going to SDCC

2) If it's OK to praise new products based on photos and 360 QTVRs, why isn't it also OK to question them?

I also hated the PF Vader cape...and helmet.

Just saw this in person. The costume is amazing, the photo from the publicity sessions that is being quoted so much has the cloak draped over his arms, so you can't tell how long it is.

The fine embroidery on his tunic is very detailed and looks fantastic. Also the apron will be a more off-white - they already know it's too bright.

The exclusive will be an extra sheathed Glamdring and a replacement open hand.

Perhaps the beard and hair aren't completely there - but he's a truly great piece.

ugh, I actually don't like this piece. It looks very static and belongs in a xmas nativity arrangement. The head sculpt doesn't have much life to it, very limp and dull. I'm likely passing unless they fix the head. The pose is lifeless also.
