Gandalf the White PF - shipping notice!!

I can't wait for this one either, I just watched ROTK again last night, and I have to say that I think this PF is spot on, there were certain scenes where Ian's head actually looked that shape and the proportions did look odd like the hair was too big on him and other times it looked flat and wet which made his face and head look smaller, but there were moments where I was thinking he looks just like the PF statue!! I mean I never really noticed it before but at times GTW in the ROTK almost has a "religious order" look about him but thats what they wanted to portray about him I think. Anyway for me I really think this is one of those statues that will look a million times better in hand than on screen.

I don't know if it's so much the sculpt or the beard. The beard is too thick and it'll be interesting to see how the factory does painting this. I have a feeling that could make or break this item.

The beard might be a touch thick. The facial sculpt is fine really. It was the hair around the shoulder that bothered me then and still.

You better make sure it is really cancelled, I have yet to continue getting notices on items that got the axe.

But it's going to be one thrifty month. I already got charged for the Black Cat comiquette last week and it will be here Thursday. Now I am going to be charged again for Gandalf.

I guess I will be bringing a sammich to work from this day forward...

For the most part, exclusives ship a week or two before regs.

I would just order a regular from a dealer and save at least 10%

I hope to get my shipping notice for my exc. any day now.

It usually takes dealers anywhere from 2-4 weeks longer to get their shipments. Not to mention Mike is in NY.
