I'm hoping there will be a simplified cane without the knife inside for the kit version, this is a very important accessory for this character and I'd feel stiffed if it didn't come with at least a cane, here's hoping......

That's why I'm actually quite glad I'd already decided on the kit version, should be easier to get hold of, good luck though man.

I forgot to mention that the cane comes with regular sets, the detachable "secret knife" is for full sets only. That's what Rainman told me.

Ok... stupid question here. (I forgot and I just recently ordered The Dude): Are the kits limited to how many orders are placed? or is it a limited edition of a specific number?

I haven't ordered from him before but from me asking loads of questions and looking at the details on his site of the older releases, it's a limited number, usually around 20 I think.

Yeah, I got the kit version of the Dude with painted head. I think event the getting the kit version will be a challenge. This is a very popular character.

Yeah I know he is, as many people know on here I really want this piece, was getting hold of The Dude kit easy enough? Do you know if it sold out quickly?
If it helps I think I got the last clothing set for the Dude (just ordered it this past weekend) and an unpainted head. I don't know when the kits came out or how long they usually last as that was my first order from rainman. He did put it in the mail on Monday and was very good about answering my questions. Looking forward to getting it.
On that note anyone know what body Rainman used for the dude?
