Timtom, Rainman has never said how many of each kit he offers; they're not numbered. You can still buy an unpainted Dude head, and you could get the Dude clothing set up until a couple of days ago.

SO, really...my suspicions were right. I figured as much, since it seems like the same people generally wind up with his work. I figured there was some under the table, wink, wink, nudge, nudge... I have mine on lock already, but no one has to know type deal and then on release date, "Yipee, I landed one...," to make things look on the up and up.
Heck, I guess if you are a faithful follower of his, and have purchase much of his work in the past, some type of reward system, sub list should be implemented.
I just want one set. Like I've said, this will be my final piece of collecting. I need to go out with my grail -- and if I'm so lucky, I will retire a happy man.

He added those 10. To make it 30 total. Without the crying this never would have been available to general public.

So he doesn't have a sub list? Not that that would bother me, heck, I know many artist (urban vinyl) that set aside works for their loyal customers, and that's a good scheme if you want to keep your intimate followers appeased. But that really changes the outlook of going after a particular piece, when the exact quantity of a piece available could be far less than what was advertised to a public.

Thanks for the info man, I would love the full version but that isn't possible right now so I'll just buy the kit, I'm just happy a decent Alex is finally here.

Yeah, I'm more than happy with that, can't wait to see what will be done with Alex's eyelashes. So how are you guys planning on displaying him, any particular scene from the movie you want him in? I've got mine picked out

That's right. I knew a number 10 was in there somewhere.
I'm still undecided on this one because of the potential of what lies in waiting after this one. If I get this one and he makes my dreams come true with the next one it will be 4 full sets all back to back on top of all my other orders including the Bobby C 1/3 Joker. On the flip side this one will be hard to get down the road if I don't bite now. I'll definitely have to sell a big ticket item to make it work because I don't use credit for anything and refuse to start over a toy. I'm going to have to be absolutely floored by the reveal to talk myself into it.

Working out what we've already seen and what Rainman said in that quote, I think the main accessories will be the dagger cane, dancing jesus and the maskie, then of course something special with the full version, plus let's be honest his whole outfit consists of little accessories too.

I'm buying the kit version too, is it easy to adapt the body? Could you answer something for me, seeing as you live in the UK too, how long was the delivery time and how much was the handling fee when you bought from Rainman before?

I own a fullset Stansfield and a clothing set from the dude as well as an unpainted sculpt I've sent off to a painter.

I had no handling charge on anything , also no postage because once you pay over a certain amount to Rainman ( I think $250 ? ) the shipping is free. The delivery time to me is usually just under two weeks I think. It's fast anyway and trackable.
I was worried myself when ordering my first figure from Rainman and I think like yourself it was my favorite movie character ( stansfield ) and I'd wanted a figure of him since I got into the hobby so was even more worried about missing out but everything turned out great.
Just be sure to be there at the ordering time since they do tend to sell out fast. If you're in the UK sometimes it can be early hours of the morning , I think Stansfield was around 2 or 3 am.
