Gears of War 3

I think we're going to have to wait to see if Gears 2 is a hit before we start thinking about Gears 3...........

Havent they sold like 3 million copies of this already? I'm pretty sure they will be set for sales after Christmas.

and yes...i've been wanting to know the story since part one. i just read the book Aspho Fields to get a little bit of insight on what happened, but i think Epic can do it. maybe add Carlos into the storyline as a playable character?

I think EPIC could do a prequel. The story could go from the Pendulum Wars all the way up till E-Day and I could see EPIC coming up with a number of ways for guys to be stabbing each other with pre-chainsaw lancer bayonets........cool.

LOVE IT!!! if you've read any of the Star Wars Commando books or Legacy of the Force books written by Karen Traviss you'll definitely enjoy reading this. she's a great Sci-Fi author and this is a great book that adds depth to Marcus and Dom's history.
My only gripe is:

LOVE IT!!! if you've read any of the Star Wars Commando books or Legacy of the Force books written by Karen Traviss you'll definitely enjoy reading this. she's a great Sci-Fi author and this is a great book that adds depth to Marcus and Dom's history.

They said it was suppose to bring the readers up to date with what was happening in Gears. I'll have to pick this up along with the new Halo novel.

Gears 2 is already out and functional

Yeah it is so functional in fact that I started the match several times with no weapons and apparently unlimited ammo. I was safe though because I had harsh language at my disposal.

Based on the near broken MP in GOW2, I am not sure if a GOW 3 announcement has me excited. I mean, the solo campaign was great, but MP is AWFUL

The game can be at least fun, right? And why take away public player matches? Why was it so bad for gamers to pick the game, map and players to play with in the first? None of these deleted features makes sense to me in GOW2...!

It seems odd that they'd announced the new multiplayer maps and single player stuff for Gears 2 only to announce Gears 3 a couple weeks later. That couldn't be good for sales so I'm holding out for a new game. Maybe the rumored PS3 horror exclusive is not an exclusive.
