some people just shouldn't host (only known through trial & error)

Dee, Spartan, Ill, and Karma are the people that my connection just doesn't like. The funny thing is they are all in Cali and Karma overseas. Ill do you guys have the same problems when East Coasters host?

I completely agree with Karma... every time Ill has hosted, I have been a killing machine!!! My connection really likes his host!

Not true, when yippy hosts I don't have a problem. I think he is on the west coast.

I left for the same reason Ill did. Got tired of hitting someone point blank and not getting anything only to be blown in to bit with one shot. Happened several times last night and I was done. I rarely just leave though so I figure I have a few I'm done early cards I can play.

We could always get back into playing Halo until the new game comes out. However, if they don't have dedicated serves to host the multiplayer matches then I fear the problem will continue.

We could I know we have Madden and I think LOTR Conquest with 16 players in MP battles that we could all play on top of you ^^^^^es getting SC4.

Starting next week, I have so many games coming out between now and Gears 2 that I honestly doubt I'll be on except for Friday nights.

Exactly and no offense to Lonnie 'cause he is improving, but when the hell did he become a master with the shottie?

I just hope all of these issues are indeed fixed in Gears 2, otherwise I'll do a Mark and turn that sum^^^^^ in, I've had enough frustration with this ^^^^in' game.

Not really, I even do well when Karma hosts, so I guess it's just hit or miss. I'm looking to upgrade my router soon, if that doesn't work I'm gonna get about a hundred feet of Ethernet cable and run that ^^^^ into the house.

Thats a good idea. I may go back to that too. The only problem is I don't think Maggie would let the wire survive. I may have to think of a way around her. LOL!

Did wonders for my dog. He tore up everything (had real bad seperation anxiety as a pup) and then once we started crating him, he became a completely different dog.

i regards to cabling, run it up into the loft/attic across to direct below required room then down or just pin it to the wall where the skirting board meets the wall

Yeah or you can do it with a homebuilt router/firewall. Thats why most PC games run from servers not hosted on a computer.
