I was only on for a half hour and Rex was hosting. I honestly didn't see anything bad while I was on and no one was really complaining. Don't know if that changed later though.

I don't like to call people out... it's just about having fun... but I can understand the frustration when it seems that your weapon has absolutely no effect on anyone while theirs will kill you with one shot.

Which is exactly what happened to me yesterday, on several occasions I was unloading on you point blank, your character wouldn't even flinch and you'd take me out with one shot. Or Spartan walking thru 3 shottie blasts to chainsaw me, it's those type of things that really get on my nerves. For me it came to a point where it just wasn't fun at all, 'cause I'd shoot someone just as many times as being shot and I'd be the one to go down every time. At least when I host, I lose a round every now and then, last night was impossible and you couldn't do anything.I don't like to call people out... it's just about having fun... but I can understand the frustration when it seems that your weapon has absolutely no effect on anyone while theirs will kill you with one shot.

That did seem to be happening a fair amount last night. I remember Lonnie being surrounded by 3 locusts and I'm unloading with my shottie point blank on one of them for 4 seconds only to have him turn around and blow me away in one shot. I wasn't terribly upset when I got my disk read error.

Exactly and no offense to Lonnie 'cause he is improving, but when the hell did he become a master with the shottie?
I just hope all of these issues are indeed fixed in Gears 2, otherwise I'll do a Mark and turn that sum^^^^^ in, I've had enough frustration with this ^^^^in' game.

That is usually why I leave early in the night. I get so damn pissed. Not at anyone just the damn connection.

I think it's people connection compatibility with the host connection

Dee, Spartan, Ill, and Karma are the people that my connection just doesn't like. The funny thing is they are all in Cali and Karma overseas. Ill do you guys have the same problems when East Coasters host?

I'll point out that I went three complete matches in a row, without a single kill last night! It just seems to be up and down sometimes...
I'll also say that it may be I was never quite as bad as it first appeared, it may have just been connections... when I don't have a bad lag and can hit what I'm aiming at, I usually have a very good night.
