Re: NBA 2012-2013

Pop is our MVP, I'm with you there, but he still has some good pieces to work with In Duncan an Manu. Not to mention our other guys played great last night...Danny Green didn't miss a shot, but he's from Long Island, of course he's awesome

Re: NBA 2012-2013

Eh..I don;t know about the second part. Spurs have always had solid teams...Duncan is the GOAT of Power Fowards...

Agreed. They just aren't 'sexy' for some reason. Probably because of a lack of speed and power in the 'Lebron' sense. They win with fundamentals and little flash.

Re: NBA 2012-2013

pretty much, except Manu, guy is damn exciting, if he played for a major market and not the spurs I think he'd seen that way more.

Small market is a BS excuse

the pacers next sunday will be their next actual Challenge, they should beat the 76ers and magic rather easily

No doubt Pop's had solid teams. But who has done more with less talent than Pop? PJ, Riley, Red?

Re: NBA 2012-2013

You could argue Larry Brown with Detroit. Sure, the team was talented, but when you talk about the contemporary great coaches like PJ, Popovich, Riley, etc., they always had an overall one on their team.

Don't get me wrong, you can win without a 1/1 (Rick Carlisle with Dallas) and while an overall 1/1 doesn't automatically equal greatness (Olowakandi), having that overall 1 that turns out to be a franchise player helps.

I bet the bucks regret not keeping him. :lol

The trade for Tractor Traylor was awesome.

And that Dallas team that won the championship was a fan's dream come true, as far as old vets getting theirs. Dirk, Jason Kidd, Peja...two of those guys are definitely HOFers.
