Once again I have to say, the season road record is worthless.
14 of those losses on the road were before January 1!!!
They've lost 5 road games in Jan, Feb and March combined.
What I find interesting is of Denvers 22 losses this year 12 of them were part of 4 different 3 game losing streaks. 3 of those 3 game losing streaks were in November where they started the season 8-9. (They went 3L, 4W, 3L, 4W, 3L to start the season.)
Lets back that first month off for ****s and giggles. They're 40-13 since Dec 1.
This team is now better than their season record indicates.
I'm not saying they go to the Finals, but this isn't "fools gold".

Denver is the late season equivalent to the early season Knicks and Clippers. Getting people excited about ultimately nothing.

Denver's playing well at the right time is huge. Teams dont go in there and do well. Clips peaked too early.
Lakers rotation tonight has only played together 3 times due to global injury. Welcome back pau. I understand he's starting. Kobe too.

Look at this guy. Can't be happy that his own team is rolling. Has to try to take potshots because he's jealous that the Heat are only getting 90% of the attention. He wants it all.

FYI, Heat lost to Washington in DC as well. Also Detroit, Portland and Utah....

Apples and ORanges. Honestly... the difference between Loria and Arison can NOT be greater. Arison had to toil for 20 years to get a championship team. Loria was gifted one in his first season. Arison has a deeply loyal fan base. Loria? The fanbase cant wait for him to sell the team.

There was. At one point. Some (not me) were fooled last season when the Marlins went out and spent all that money on (terrible) free agents. But the stadium wouldnt sell out. No one cares. I don't. That team could go away as far as I'm concerned. Id rather Loria go away.

Once the playoffs start, if either of our given teams are bounced by X round, then neither of us can post in the NBA 2013-2014 thread for the WHOLE season (Im sure there are plenty that would like both of us to be silenced)
As you stated, (a little weird that you remembered) Im a Knicks fan and the Knicks are perrenial losers only fair that they make it out of the first round, they fail to do so, and Im out for the season. Seeing the Spurs are the toast of the west, anything less than the conference final is a failure. Spurs get bounced in the first two rounds you and Duncan super fan are done for 2013-2014. We both lose or win and its a wash nothing changes.

Honestly if the Spurs lose I want him to come in here and take his lumps. A better bet would be to post an admission that his team is overrated and sucks.

I don't really get why you're so hostile towards me and Jstep, I am forgetting something or did you just come in with some weird hatred for us and the Spurs? Did the spurs gang rape your mom or something? All joking aside it doesn't make much sense. I can see why a Lakers fan would hate the spurs but you're a knicks fan, besides the 99 finals i just don't get the random hatred.

Avatar bets are always fun...I actually remember (not sure if you do) you and I had a bet (Miami's first season with LeBron) if the Heat won that year I would buy you a championship hat..I was sweating there for a little bit until the Heat folded against the Mavs...but I'm always down for a fun bet...
