Avatar bets are always fun...I actually remember (not sure if you do) you and I had a bet (Miami's first season with LeBron) if the Heat won that year I would buy you a championship hat..I was sweating there for a little bit until the Heat folded against the Mavs...but I'm always down for a fun bet...

not with racists/homophobes/bigots...those kinds can eff off...

I remember that. God, this years team is SOOO much better than that team. To think Bibby was our starting PG in the FInals. BIBBY! Our best lineup had a bionic Miller and a barely walking Haslem. Ilgauskas and Dampier wouldn't even dress on this team.

Yeah lol no bets this year...East is too weak - Heat have a red carpet to the Finals...Lakers are toast, Spurs will get overpowered, OKC is much weaker this year than last without Harden...the Heat are runnin' a train on the NBA this season...

I don't really get why you're so hostile towards me and Jstep, I am forgetting something or did you just come in with some weird hatred for us and the Spurs? Did the spurs gang rape your mom or something? All joking aside it doesn't make much sense. I can see why a Lakers fan would hate the spurs but you're a knicks fan, besides the 99 finals i just don't get the random hatred.

I dont have any problems with you, your conspiracy stuff is a bit much, my beef is with Jstep. He calls me the keyboard cowboy but again wont man up, cause his pathetic life revolves around his NBA thread prowess

And I just dont like the Spurs, maybe Im still bitter about 99

Play hard? Hardly. Bosh had 5 pts, wade 19 and they were down by 11 in the first half. They aren't exerting much effort until 4th quarter.

Charlotte Orlando and Chicago next. All winnable.

What that I'm not allowed to post here if the Spurs don't make the West finals? Isn't that like a good thing? I don't have to take my lumps if they lose. Pretty sure they will at least make the west finals though

Me too. More importantly the role players are better this year. Splitter, Kawhi, Danny Green, and Corey Joseph. The sky is the limit. The Heat are still the favorites in my book but i'm not counting out the Spurs at all

^ I agree, the Spurs depth is phenomenal...that Harden trade was killer for OKC, the West is wide open..


Not sure if you're in to this but there's a really cool book that came out about the history of the Spurs, I'm planning on picking it up the next few weeks:
