anyone else think Hous has a real chance? I think both teams have the potential to get the upset. Should be entertaining, I can't believe Bos made it this far.

Nope. I think Houston gets rolled... and then the same to Cleveland in the finals.

I think Houston has a chance...but think GS will win in six.

Anyone else think the emergence of Terry Rozier makes Kyrie Irving expendable? Obviously, Kyrie is a better player than Rozier, but if they could flip Kyrie for Kawhi Leonard, that would be a pretty imposing rotation the Celtics would have if players taller than 6’7”. Be useful if LeBron stays in the East. They could throw Jason Tatum, Jaylen Brown, Gordon Hayward, and Kawhi at LeBron.

it defn makes him expendable, but the guy has a history of being hurt, so I'm not sure how high his trade value is and if they trade him next year, the team will need a guarantee from him that he will stay. Celts would be kings of the East if they pulled that trade off. If Lebron stays, I don't think a top 10 pick will be enough to lure a all star type player. Ya never know though, Lebron could go to SA and play with Kawhi too.

Not sure I understand this sentence - both teams being - ?

Boston and Hou are the underdogs according to Vegas. How can a team that can throw up 50 in a qtr not be considered to have a chance? It's not like GS is some defensive juggernaut. In the Bos series, if the Cle role players play like dogs like they did against Ind, Bost defn has a good shot.

The playoffs are not that good this season. I’m wondering if what they say comparing the season scheduling has really worn out a lot of the teams.

Even the good series are mediocre in competition

Yep, the 4 teams everyone said would be in the conference finals the day the season ended last year. Oh boy.

Warriors are a defensive juggernaut when they want to be. With their death lineup, they have players in every position that could be considered one of the best defenders at their position in the NBA, other than Steph (who is still an above average defender.) Draymond is the reigning Defensive Player of the Year, Klay and Iggy are top wing defenders, and KD has become a defensive force.

I'd rather see Huston and Cavs in the finals. I think most people are expecting a repeat of last year's finals, but that would be kind of boring and predictable. However, if Huston goes to the finals against the Cavs, that could be more competitive, and it would be a better storyline with the 2018 MVP (probably) against the best player in the NBA, Lebron. So no excuses, two somewhat even teams, reigning mvp and Chris Paul, against the former MVP with Kevin Love.

I think Houston would dominate the Cavs unless Harden and CP3 just can’t handle the pressure (which is possible based on both of their playing history.)

Whoever comes out of the west should feel minimum resistance to who comes out of the east. The Cavs have faced 3 teams thus far who I think have better overall teams than them, but I think Bos may finally have too much fire power for them to overcome.

Toronto doesn’t have a leader to get them past LeBron. They need to blow it up, they won’t go anywhere as the are constructed today.

The Pacers aren’t better than the Cavs.

this is D'idiotoni's game plan against GS? I've never seen so much selfish, Iso ball from a whole team in my life. Can they fire him after game 1?

WCF already..jeez the NBA these days no competition :slap

Playoffs were blowouts . Glad I didn’t follow the playoffs this season :lecture

42 points on better than 50% shooting, and a triple double that included 12 assists...and the Cavs still lost. What more can LeBron do?

Kevin Love added 22 and 15, but the rest of the Cavs suck, period.

One could argue that the Celtics did what they had to do and that a playoff series doesn’t really begin until one team wins on the other team’s home court, but unless the other Cavs step up, this year will be the end of LeBron James’ stranglehold on the Eastern Conference.

I don't feel sorry for LeBron. He picked these guys and he's living with the consequences. He needs to stick to playing and not GM'ing.
