Harden comes up small in the 4th again, Paul misses a big FT at the end. Somehow, luck kept them from choking that one away.

Shocked they won one at Oracle :horror

Still sticking with Dubs in 6

Houston is going to be drained on Thursday. Durant is going to go balls to the wall and Dubs will take game 5

You know what I noticed Kerr’s coaching hasn’t been the same since Walton left for Lakers

That was the coaches’ vote for the National Basketball Coaches Association award ...the winner for the actual COY won’t be announced until next month but I wouldn’t be surprised if Casey won.

I see.....it would be a travesty if anyone but the coaches of Toronto, Bos or even Utah won it. Playing 1 on 1 for entire games doesn't require much "coaching" . Does Houston even know what a pick and roll even is?

Hahaha Yeah D’Antoni isn’t among the finalists... probably because he won last year.

The 3 guys you mentioned are the last 3 standing.

I hope Houston wins this series because I want to see if Durant demands a trade there this off season. [emoji3]

the NBA should really reconsider adding the playoffs into MVP voting since there is only a regular season and a Finals MVP award. Harden is one of the biggest playoff chokers around, along with Paul. I can't believe Hou has gotten 2 wins in this series after watching that half of basketball.

It’ll be incredible if the Rockets win this game in spite of Harden...the last time I remember a shooter being so cold in a big time game was John Starks in Game 7 of the 1994 NBA Finals between the Knicks and the Rockets.

was Starks considered a top 5 player in the league at that time? Harden has laid big time eggs 2 games in a row, helps to actually have good role players. I can't believe Hou won that game, but Paul looks like a pulled hamstring. If he's not 100% by game 7, they have 0 chance.

Nah, Starks wasn’t a top five player, but he was an All Star that year and a big reason NY made the finals. He went 0 for 11 from three point range in Game 7, whereas he went 5 for 9 from three in Game 6 (with his ninth attempt being a potential game winner that Hakeem Olajuwon blocked). Still, it was one of the most inopportune times for a shooter to go cold.

As soon as I saw CP get up clutching the back of his leg, I knew it was an injured hammy. The Rockets chances to win the series decrease dramatically without Paul...as off as he was in the first half, he made some clutch shots to bring them back; not to mention Houston needs his ballhandling, defense, and leadership I know GS is dealing with injuries themselves with Andre Iguodala, but CP3 is a bigger loss to his team.

D’Antoni was already using a shorter seven man rotation, and with CP3 injured, that’s a man down. Luc Mbah a Mounte hasn’t been playing the same since he’s come back from a dislocated shoulder, but he’ll most likely be forced into action again.

yea, unless he is somewhat close to how he felt physically beforehand, I would prolly pull him and increase the rotation and save him for game 7 because even if healthy, I wouldn't think Hou would play very well in game 6. They don't seam to have that kind of mentality to go in there and win under the circumstances unless GS lays an egg themselves.

One game away from the biggest choke job in the history of sports. Houston is good but GS should be crushing them with the talent they have. I may actually watch a Houston / Boston Finals.

The finals they lost to the Cavs is the biggest choke job in NBA. The Falcons losing the Super Bowl is the biggest choke job in the NFL.

lol So many more choke jobs just in the history of nba alone...

Spurs game 6 2013
queens choking 3-1 lead over lakers
multiple 8 seeds beating 1 seeds
04 finals
00 wcf
16 finals

...this hou-gsw isnt even on the radar

Kings didn't choke away anything, they were only up 3-2, never 3-1. I don't even need to mention the real reason why they lost that series.

and.....the same year, OKC also choked away a 3-1 lead to GS.......lead by a Mr. KD, but yes, I would consider that the biggest. The Spurs-Miami series may be the 2nd biggest, in my life time at least. Losing a 3-2 lead is not a choke when Hou entire offense is play 1 on 5 against the champs. Now that Paul is out, Harden will show he's not the MVP again and come up short in game 7.

Unless Harden finds his shooting touch from three again, I don’t see them taking this series, even with a 3-2 lead.

And while it was funny to see CP3 shimmy in Steph’s face, the gods of basketball seem to be into karma.

Its not just GS losing to Houston its Golden State not even making the finals let alone winning it all. This is the team EVERYONE said would walk away with not only the title this year but possibly for the next 2-3 years and for them to lose in the conference finals is a choke job of epic proportions.

But for some reason I still think they will win this series and the title.
