Gentle Giant is making one stupid mistake after another. Whoever is heading up this line ought to be fired. Nothing like previewing a whole line, getting a lot of people excited then releasing no further information for a year, claim they're working on a comic or show to tie in then a year later (still no tie in's) and they release a variant at an outrageous price!

Who wants to bet they've been spending the last year making these 100 and not developing any tie ins... they saw Whisper was a favorite from the start so now their just trying to make a blatant money grab. Who knows, maybe they'll find 100 people who have that kind of cash to burn. I probably would have bit if it had been more at the Sideshow standard price of $350, I like the look of the variant except for the blonde hair, should have been black then it would have had that Domino (Thunderball) vibe.

While not a line I'd collect... I have to agree, this variant is just nowhere near as nice as the regular. One of the more impressive features of the regular is how the bodysuit appears see through and you get more of the tattoo... here the red looks much more solid and like she just had the tattoo printed on it.

WTF GG, I think it's Hot but for $699 are you F'kn Kidding me, just makes wonder what the Reg. Version asking price will be $499, I could live with $399 for Whisper but these should be $250-$300, WOW! maybe the Hardcore Collector with Deep Pockets can afford it but to the Collectors that don't make 6 figure incomes, give me a Break and based on past products it will probably take up to 2 years to receive it.
