I agree, mixed into his exaggerations were some intelligent ideas that could have cleaned this country up.

We were fortunate to have him for a long time and he had a good life with more privilege than most and although 71 isn't old, its not bad.

That just downright sucks. Another legend in his art has passed. I'm so glad I got to see him a couple years ago. He was one of a kind thats for sure. RIP

i just read about this on MSN. very tragic indeed. he's always been one of my favorites...i finally got the privelage to see him perform back in 2004 and even though his language is a little harsh, you can't help but think about the truth in some of his messages.

They had a carlin stand-up marathon on HBO last night. watched 4.5 hours of it last night, couldn't get enough

however his work will forever be remembered and i believe that matters the most
