I can't believe we didn't have a thread about this film already. I've been wanting to see it since the first preview. I loved Brand in Forgetting Sarah Marshall and Aldous Snow is a really fun character.

The reviews for Macgruber sucked me and made me see a movie that I regretted, but the good reviews for Greek are accurate, if even underselling it a bit. I loved this film. I'm not a Jonah Hill fan, but he held his own with Brand and you had to really like his character. And Brand showed (again) that he's not just an outrageous standup, but really has the comedic acting chops. And I hate P Diddy, but he was truly great in this too - rivaling Tom Cruise's over the top studio executive from Tropic Thunder.

I'd say this was the funniest feature film since The Hangover, I laughed out loud many, many times. I'm anxious to see this again in the theatre, and that's almost never true for me for a comedy. Highly recommended and I hope they do more movies with the Aldous Snow character.

I have some friends that got to see a preview of this last weekend and they loved it. I'm hoping to see it tomorrow.

I might see this tomorrow if the weather clears. Nothing else out this week I wanna see. Thanks for the review, Dave!

I really liked the Aldous Snow character from 'Sarah Marshall', but man does Jonah Hill ever get on my nerves now. I don't think I'll get to see this in a theater, but I do want to see it for the Snow character alone, Brand is pretty funny.

I don't have a problem with Hill although arguably he has been getting less funnier with every role....his charm is wearing. Brand is no big draw either as the "Russell Brand" character/persona he has created is pretty much the Snow character a little dailed back. What has me staying away is Puff Daddy. I hate him and just seeing him in what I saw in the previews I can't stand it. Netflix at best.

I don't know what to think of this film, having yet seen it. It looks like the half-sister/brother of Forgetting Sarah Marshall but keeps the worst aspects of that movie and lacks the best parts: Jason Segal (onscreen), Mila Kunis, Kristen Bell, and Bill Hader.

I don't care for Johan Hill nor Russell Brand nor P. Diddy or Diddy or whatever.

I don't like Jonah Hill, Russell Brand or P. Diddy so I doubt I'll watch this...

Why must those idiots INSIST on using the same, tired, poor actors in EVERY movie they make? Jeez, they're worse than Burton with Depp!
Russell Bland = super toolbag
I actually can't even believe this movie got made lol

Anything with Puff Daddy is the kiss of death. I don't know if he did it here, but he usually produces things so he can put himself in them.

I don't like Puff Daddy, Puff Diddy, P Diddy, or whatever he calls himself these days. His music stinks and he's a so so actor. He's also let fame go to his head.

Anyway, I didn't see this today. After all the overnight drama I had, I didn't feel like going anywhere.

whoever the long haired British guy who did the MTV awards awhile back... hate 'em. Don't plan on seeing anything that he is in.

Do tell...

We were contemplating seeing a movie this weekend, but after we found out what opened, we decided to skip it.

I'm another who can't stand Jonah Hill - I find him obnoxious. And Russell Brand does nothing for me.

Forgetting Sarah Marshall was hilarious and underrated. Best characters were Aldo Snow, and Peter. So...atleast we get one of them...right>?
