The thing is though, people can be the most arrogant, fat, ugly, rich, banger of hot girls, and people can still like and admire them because they put on great performances, are talented and act very well. To alot of people, he isn't one of them. Same thing with Michael Cera, and as I personally alluded to earlier, the whole freakin Apatow clan. Why oh why oh why, do the same 'tards keep getting used over and over and over ad bloody nauseum!? And they are such uncaptivating actors that they're never even remotely believable. You're always like, 'oh look, it's the fat ****** from Superbad'. 'Oh look, did you hear what the fat ****** from Superbad just said'. 'Oh look, wtf, how did the fat Superbad ****** pull that semi-hot chick'. Is it jealousy? Most probably, what's not to be jealous of? Does it halt the fact that he's probably, actually not a very likeable or talented actor? Not a chance - he just sucks, IMHO.
I just think acting is SOOOOO subjective these days, and people are smarter, that they can simply disregard the talentless folk, even without having known their name, who they are, what they do in their personal time/etc etc. I'm not saying this last part is my personal opinion, just what I've come to see, although I disliked him in Superbad, and I had no idea who he even was.
