As many of you may know I get banned alot. Now in most collector's minds they feel they have the right to step away or suspend forum rules & flame me for some POV of mine that they feel be-littles them or what ever victim mentality thats handy provides them. I've always prided myself on speaking my mind boldly & doing it with out name calling, trolling, or flaming others (pity its seldom ever returned).
But in the past when I've gotten banned from from dime-O-dozen sites like this its meant little to nothing to me at all. When dealing with a social collective POV supression is to be expected. Well I've just been banned from the DCD boards. I'll spare you the boring details surfice to say it was the useual situation where I'm peacefully chatting when the very person I'm talking to got mad because all the latest news about the hot DC properties coming out made his claims that DC is a dead franchise & makes no money & BLAH BLAH BLAH.......
Well long story short he played the role of cloaked NAZI victim & the MOD ate it up like the good lap dog "The Matrix" has trained him to be...............like I said, the useual. But this time I must confess it did sting. Not BC I won't be able to talk to all the NAZI who seek to sterilize POVs that they deem as "wrong". But because I've sunk $30,000.00 into their company & for some yahoo thats employed by them to ban me, well............its quite a slap to the face.
BUT.......its a slap I was sorely in need of!! I just spent the last few hours throwing myself a CANCELLATION PARTY
I must have cancelled about $2,000.00 worth of DC related toys that I was planing on getting over the summer. Now in case your wondering was this one of those "I'll show them who's boss" angry backlash things.......then let me assure you, NO ITS NOT. I had been wanting to get my act together for some time now. My living situation is.....less than ideal. My massive beautiful collection is all shut up in storage & I can't even enjoy what I got because I'm always spending money on the next wave of figures.
So, If DCD wants to slam the door shut in my face......cool, so be it. But the dumb asses will also be slamming the door on the $300-$400 per month I drop on DC toys.......yes you read that right. Its kinda why I'm glad this has all happened. If I can't pull myself out of my shopping addiction habbit on my own then at least my pride will rescue me.
SO.....good by DC DIRECT (Mattel too)!!!! HELLO APARTMENT!!!!
Now I hope you don't think this means Queen is gonna get all soft. Because I'm still the 1st Amendment advocating, bull5h1t calling out, freedom fighting SUPREMEQUEEN I've always been! I'll still be there to go tit for tat with each & every NAZI MOD & Administrator that sees fit to test my resolve. & when I get banned from this site it too will make for a well earned trophy to add to my accolades of truth.
