Just noticed that Snaga is a Ringbearer bust.

Meaning, it will have a hidden compartment that just might hold a One Ring replica, for the lucky few.

Of course, the character never wore a ring, any ring, at any time.

Then again Sauron... THE LORD OF THE RINGS himself... is NOT a Ringbearer.

I just find that funny, in a nerdy, nerdy way.

Ordered both, anyway.

it might not be a ring though. GG was saying they wanted to start using different items in the LOTR busts.

There were only supposed to be 100 rings in the Aragorn and Ringwraith busts combined. Wonder what the 'different' items could be?:dunno

I pre-ordered them both from Adam (Dark Shadow). I like to split my business between Adam and Bob (Fireside) about 50 - 50.

:D

i cant believe the price of sauron isn't more than the other busts given the size increase. great deal if you ask me.

Same with the Balrog, excellent value for what you get. We should probably stop praising GG when they sell these larger sized busts for a minimal increase before they up the price.

I got the Sam in Orc Armor the other day. I think it's a great piece. I decided to get back into this line, due to Sideshow's LotR efforts (lack of). I still am collecting some of the SS LotR dioramas, and P.F. , but, it's so few and far between, it's nice to have another line to collect that offers some consistency.

Agreed. And it looks fantastic. It's an easy pass for me though, owning the Weta piece and not being completist on the GG busts. I've been trying to shop a bit more discriminately of late, and limit redundancies. Snaga is a maybe though, because of the uniqueness factor.
