It better not look much different or I'll be royally pissed! I ordered this item hoping it will look close to the prototype. I hope it is like the Speed Biker Scout and not the Obi-Wan.

Well, I don't want to rain on anybody's parade but we already know that they covered up most of the rear, changed the color of the sheets and altered her portrait somewhat giving her a more "concerned" look. This has the makings of another general Kenobi debacle in terms of people not getting the statue they thought they had pre-ordered.

I hope that you are right. I haven't ordered this GG yet (in fact I've stayed away from GG products entirely) but this one is a definite maybe for me... for the right price and depending on the final released sculpt.

Sad about the changes.

The pictures shown do actually look to me like the resculpt, with the more troubled expression. (Could certainly be wrong - the color of the fabric has indeed changed)

Gentle Giant often does excellent paint work and likenesses. That's tied up with why so many people are angry at them. If they always put out crap, no one would care. Its the fact that they have real fans (including myself) that leads to so much uproar with the hit-and-miss (but many more hits, to be fair) quality, and consistently weak service and communication.

They've certainly given us due cause for skepticism, but the revisions still look great, and there's every reason to hold hope for a high quality delivered product here.

Even though a poster said somethings have been changed from the original prototype to the new one, I still like the new one just as much, ass not being exposed withstanding. Still a beautiful sculpt and I actually like the newly paint scheme on the blankets. If we get something close to this, I will be ecstatic. If not, I'll be royally pissed and will be the last time I give money to GG.

My question, is the prototype for sale. That is incredible! I saw the GG web site with the frontal shot. The clothes are a different color (purple), I like the orange better and the pillow color is different. I actually think the GG pic has Leia with a more sultry look and extra red lipstick! Anyone see ROTJ recently? Do you see a shut of her back? If it is realistic, why change the prototype?
