Okay, I am not one to make fun of personal tragedy, but since Carrie over came it and became a stronger person for it:

My friend pointed out that the statue is the "fantasy" edition ... i.e. what Carrie would have looked like if she wasn't stoned out of her mind all the time. I don't know exactly when Carrie kicked her habit, but she certainly does look like she is off visiting her favorite dragon in the land of Honalei in that movie still.

y'know what i think? ..and we don't often here this (especially with Sideshow!) but I think her head needs to be bigger.

It makes her arms and shoulders (and general body) look more robust and solid than she actually was, which was a slender little thing.

and yeah... her ****s are too big. But hey, with the arse cheek thing they had going on at the beginning you can see what market audience they were going for, lol

Whatever the case it's a great statue. For such a wonderful piece all I hear is chirping. Shaddup already folks and try to concentrate on the strong points. Still one of the nicer statues out there.

People always got to fuss about something. Can't just be satisfied with what they get. I would understand if it was the Attakus Slave Leia level of quality. But it isn't! Like to see some of these people do a better job.

Yeah, it is a good price. The guy had it for 150.00 but didn’t take charge. I started to walk away and he said he’d give it to me 120.00 cash. No way I could say no to that!

Well, I can get it for just under $140 shipped, so I can't really complain I guess. Still, I was hoping to get it for closer to $120 total. NONE of the dealers at Heroes Con had any this past weekend.

This has nothing to do with collecting a line, imho. Heck, unless you count the Clone Wars maquettes I now only own ONE other GG statue (the ROTS Vader) and that's only because I kept it for a display in my office at work.

This Leia statue is its own thing, imho. I'm getting it regardless of how I feel about the rest of the GG statue line. (I don't collect their busts, either)
