Man, saw this last night with the fam.....disappointment. I really hope it doesn't kill any future sequels, but how could it not? Even if Cage agrees to do a dozen more, I don't know how they could get much worse. So sad. :(

The Ghost Rider movie rights were handled poorly from the start -- and after two apparently-craptastic films, it's unlikely anyone will greenlight the production of a third, even if the third is the gritty, mature, dark adventure it could've (and should've) been from the start.

Wow. As a big Ghost Rider comic fan I wanted to enjoy this, struggled to enjoy it, but was frankly embarrassed for all involved. As a fan that even liked the 2007 movie (that not many other people liked) I went into this with an open mind, hoping Neveldine/Taylor could pull it off. They failed miserably. This movie is set in Eastern Europe so I understand the sensibility of shooting it in Eastern Europe, but for the love of God, I'm sure there's better locations in Eastern Europe that don't look so bland. The movie's script was an incomplete puzzle, with no real characterization. Every character seemed one-dimensional (no pun). And frankly ALL of the action scenes, you've already seen. That is ridiculous. There's a lot of talking and build-up and not much payoff. This movie joins the long list of Marvel B-character bombs like "Daredevil", "The Punisher", etc. There are some good stunts and shots, but not enough to save this trainwreck of a movie.

Yep. I struggled until I was in the car. I defended the movie in my head.

"Ha..hah...yeah, it was a ____ movie..but it was fun...right? Wasn't it? Uh..no. No it wasn't. "

I don't get this movie franchise. It's like a student that fails an exam, get's a chance to retake the test WITH all the correct answers known/highlighted, and somehow still fails the living s#!+ out of it. What. The. ____.

Sony is run by a bunch of idiots. Simple as that. Abandon all hope for Spider-Man, ye who enter here.

I didn't get a chance to go see this Sunday, but still planning on later this week.

Box offices numbers weren't too bad for opening weekend.

This wasn't as bad as I expected. I just re-watched the first one and there were a few "that was so stupid" moments, which I didn't have with this sequel. And the directors let Cage off the chain and he really mugged it up - I was laughing out loud at his performance at times and I think he did know what he was doing. Decay was kind of a cool villain too - I don't know if he's from the comics, but I wouldn't mind seeing more of him.

But I really, really didn't like what they did with the look of the Rider. The flame behind the eyes was very cool but this guy was just black in the eyes. Perhaps it was spookier, but not as cool. Same with the outfit - it probably is more logical for the leathers to be just a melted version of Blaze's leathers - but I preferred the costume and bike from the first film - more comicbooky - but cooler.
