I like the trailer, but I can't help but be frustrated that two of my favorite Marvel characters (Punisher and Ghost Rider) just can't get a really good onscreen translation. I think this GR will blow the other (which was actually a financial success) out of the water with the Crank directors crazy shots and angles. Also, I like the re-design of the GR, particularly knowing that they mo-capped Cage this time. Can't wait for the Sideshow PF. Come on SSC's...do a PF Ghost Rider!!!

I thought he was spitting out bullets out of his mouth. Maybe I didn't pay attention.

he's pissing fire out of what exactly? he's a skeleton with a ____? An obese skeleton at that.

He does that but the very last part looks as if he's pissing fire. Take a second look.... he could be shooting something that spews flames but the intention is to make it look as if his pee is fire.

No after that. The kid asks him what happens if he has to pee and the final shot is him releaving himself with flames all over the title or something (which is probably symbolic of what the filmmakers and Cage are doing to this classic character. :lol)

Yea, I suspect that's just a little joke for the trailer - I doubt we'll see him piss fire. But who knows...

The director's cut of the first film (like with Daredevil) is better than the theatrical release, but it's definitely in that mediocre pile. I wouldn't see this in the theater, but it's something I'd definitely rent on blu.

:exactly:

The first one was a turd but I bought the HT's figure because of the comic appeal. Always wonder if a follow up film will best the figure purchase I made with a follow up figure release.

However, I'm not really digging the GR design here and I don't care for the bike that much compared to the first. That's one thing the first film seemed to do right, character and bike design.

Still hoping they get it right but I'm pretty sure I won't see this in the theater unless the reviews are really great and I happen to have some spare time.

Bike design is back to old school 1970's Johnny Blaze. I didn't get the Joel Schumaker endorsed bike in the 2007 film. I am a big GR fan so I saw GR twice in the theater. Haha, I know. But I like it and the effects were good and for what it was it entertained. Story killed it more than anything, but the characters were interesting--some of them.

So his clothes will be burnt along with his bike? Its going to look like HT Demon Bats and I dont like that either.

yeah, but I'm not sold it will look that much different. I mean, ashes of course, but overall it doesn't look to be burning and falling off him.

There's really no continuity between this and GR1. spoke to the Romanian stunt guys and they filmed some crazy stunts. It should, if anything, be mindless action.

I'm thinking/hoping the same thing. Still, even as a trailer joke it comes off as really lame, I just hope it doesn't foreshadow more lameness in the film itself.

The movie is put together by two frat boys ;)

Him pissing fire is cooler, and funnier then any Jellybean, fire head joke in the first one.

It's bat____ crazy awesomeness.
