ON another note. I paid for a set of Spenser Heads about a month ago and have not received them. He's been a little less than forthcomming and his communication has been frustrating. Be wary.

I've dealt with Spenser one time and it felt very unprofessional. Basically had to beg him multiple times to send what I had paid for. I won't be buying anything more from him to say the least.

Man I'm telling you they will go down to 20.00 here pretty soon they do this all the time it's been at 50.00 for a bit but they will go down I'm waiting myself to get my last 2

Same here. In fact when I asked him for a refund this week they heads mysteriously became "shipped"... I vote to have his information removed from opening post or at least amended with the information that he is unreliable.

He informed he was casting a new batch last time he messaged me, which was end of January. I'm not very knowledgeable about these things, but I imagine he does them in batches to save time and cost. I asked for a set of 4 painted, so that would take longer. I'm giving it time.

A month is a long time and clearly some people didn't receive the best communication from him. In your case mmmmBrains, you weren't happy with your cast.

Just in case anyone's getting the wrong idea, I'm not related to him or know him personally. I'm just trying to stay optimistic. If my heads don't show up by the beginning of next month and he doesn't reply to my questions, then I will start taking some kind of action.

We all have lives outside of our hobbies and jobs. It's surprising how easy it is to neglect certain aspects of your life when you're trying to deal with something that's just come up. Who knows what might be going on with Spenser.

Regardless of what is going on with Spenser it would be appreciated by those waiting on Dark Helmet, GB heads, or anything else if he can just drop in for literally two minutes to give an update.

The part I bought was very small and inexpensive, which may be why it took forever and was a ****ty cast. I don't know. Gotta spend more money to get a good cast I suppose.

Gosh, that body's awfully shiny. He'll look like he's rubbed oil all over himself. Anyhow, Winston will be in his jumpsuit most of the time so that shouldn't matter. Thanks for pointing this out. How good are the joints, does he stand up well on his own?

Yeah, really you don't even need a black body, because all the body parts will be covered apart from the hands (maybe wrists) and neck--latter of which will probably be part of the head sculpt you get. Joints aren't great on those figures. I use a stand with them, but they probably could stand on their own just fine. You can tighten up some of their joints with a screw driver.

There's no denying the quality of the sculpts. the professionalism is lacking sorely.

Yeah, really you don't even need a black body, because all the body parts will be covered apart from the hands (maybe wrists) and neck--latter of which will probably be part of the head sculpt you get. Joints aren't great on those figures. I use a stand with them, but they probably could stand on their own just fine. You can tighten up some of their joints with a screw driver.

As for the GB heads issue, if Spenser reads this maybe he'll realise how a good number of people aren't happy and that there's room for improvement.

Ditto. Still haven't chosen an Egon yet either.

Yeah, I did consider just giving Winston a caucasian body but it would bug the hell out of me to know that the body underneath the jumpsuit isn't the right skin colour. Guess I'm just weird.

A can of spray paint is a lot cheaper than an AA Trype.

Well, i finally received the GB heads from Spenser.... terrible cast quality IMHO. They have rough patches, bubbles, uneven necks. Winton has what looks like a giant melt splotch on the back of his neck. Just so disappointing. Beware.

I waited 45 days and paid $145 for the set I shouldn't have gotten anything less than perfect casts.

New line is sold out, no? I like the Newline boots I have few pairs myself but one thing I don't like is the laces they use. The dye rubs off easy and they're more of a purple black.
