:naughty:chew

Those were 1/6 Blues Bros. 2000 figures for Toy Biz. Never did see the production product. Usually too depressing to see how crappy they look when they come back from China!:lol

I'd like to do a good custom Blues Bros. set some day.

See!?! Crap. I knew I shouldn't bother looking. I wash my hands! I take no responsibility!!:duh

This is why I like the custom world. I can control the quality of the sculpt, and the casting and the ultimate size and match to the figure. I know Kuato will do an incredible job. I know all you guys actually give a damn and put passion into your builds.

One of the reasons I've drawn back from the corporate world....:monkey4:sick

Ah, well. Sorry to moan!:D

The John Goodman likeness is especially amazing! Too bad these lost so much in the production process, though.

Any prices yet for the jumpsuits and alice frames? I'm interested in 4 of each if the price is good.

Not yet. I just sent them the numbers we had from everyone last weekend as an estimate which they asked for, but I've so far found communication from them has always been slow- a week ar two to get replies. :horror

Dude, I'd love that Goodman head sculpt for a Dan Conner--that thing is amazing! I can't believe that is your sculpt! At least a lot of people have used your Ackroyd for a Ray kitbash--that's a compliment, right?

Now that you told me I realized I knew the heads but I really did not see them in those terrible items shown above. Really horrible how people can destroy such a great sculpt...:google

A BB-custom set would be a huge hit! But we need them ALL! Lets finish the GBs and afterwards directly go on to BB! :D

Alright!! You guys got Chris H. to do the GB sculpts, You guys will all be pleased :). Thats too bad about the size issue on the Bill sculpt

Started doing some prep work on my proton packs tonight :joy

This is really going to be a lot of fun.

THIS is cool. On Aintitcoolnews they have an article and video of Bill Murray talking about GB III!

Here's what he said, but the articles here:
https://www.aintitcool.com/node/38496

I'm sure at some point the video of this will come out, but the non-line for line version of the question was how would Murray feel about strapping on the proton pack and kicking some ghost ass again?

I was very curious to hear Murray's answer. He's not as available to the press or public as Dan Aykroyd or Harold Ramis and he also seemed to be the least enthusiastic about a Ghostbusters sequel...

But tonight he said that he knew "some writers from THE OFFICE" were taking a stab at the script right now (which we already knew) and that he thinks that's a good start. He paused for a few seconds then said that he thinks enough time has passed and that "the wounds from GHOSTBUSTERS 2 are healed" and that he would definitely be into doing another GHOSTBUSTERS movie, stating that the first 40 minutes of the original film is some of the best stuff he's been associated with and the whole shoot was an amazing amount of fun.

He also went on to say that his enthusiasm for Ghostbusters was heightened after recording the voice of Peter Venkman for the video game over the summer. In fact, he said he found himself walking down the street singing the Ghostbusters theme song and then thought people walking around him were going to start yelling at him to "get over yourself, Bill," so he stopped... But the enthusiasm was there.

For it's time Ghostbusters was probably the highest grossing movie ever made. Other than their original wages the actors saw none of the record profits from the movie. Bill Murray took this to heart and had quite a grudge. This was the reason that so many years passed between GB and GB2 because he was dragging his feet about signing on to the sequel. Orginally he was only going to do a cameo appearance via a phone call but eventually was wooed into doing a full blown character reprisal($$$). However GB2 didn't garner nearly the fame (or profits) of Ghostbusters. So even though he held out for a more money up front there really weren't any profits to share after the movies release. He got pretty angry so he basically walked away from the franchise and wanted nothing to do with Ghostbusters.

I got my four proton packs and Peter head-sculpt a couple weeks ago. I don't have the balls to start working on the packs--I'm gonna hafta commission someone to do them I think.

c'mon man, be brave! :D

I started doing the base cleanup for the packs themselves, still have the smaller parts to cleanup. Definitely a big project.

mine musta got sent to the wrong house. oh well. the packs shouldnt be too hard. i guess i'll just paint them black and glue wires and rubber o-rings to them. ive been pilfering stuff from my job for the last couple weeks. i think i have everything i need.

I am soooo not forward to assembling my packs! :monkey2
Massive assembly intimidates me!

Craw, you got a PM, Bro!
-Rick :)

I don't think assembly will be that bad aside from scrounging for the wires and bits.

the only thing i cant find is a good ribbon cable for the pack. i dismantled a stone-age rotary phone that was in this house when i moved in. lots of little wires in there. they should work.
