Man, the more I see of this movie the worse it looks. I love the originals (yes, even GB2) and this looks horrible.
Now, to get ultra ranty and unnecessarily nit-picky about the posters!
Poster 1- Why the fingerless gloves? The whole point is to provide additional dexterity. Do you need that much additional dexterity when you are holding what is basically a stick with a toggle switches to activate it? And if they are not like the original neutrino wands and use triggers instead, unless the triggers have a guard, it would be even easier with full gloves. The Ghostbusters operated radios, traps, proton packs and PKE meters with no issue while wearing full gloves. And I don't think grip is an issue considering the rest of the glove looks like the most obviously textured glove I've ever seen.
AND, even though they would do nothing to protect against it, I would probably wear a full glove due to the fact that the neutrino wand barrel appears to have particle spill ports with a hand grip around it. I would assume these holes are for actual venting and not show, so that means when firing they would be exposed to charged proton particles and possible DNA damage. The original neutrino wands actually have extending barrels to even further distance this type of risk
Poster 2- Nothing wrong with this poster right? I dunno, logo patch looks kinda cheap to me. Like a frayed patch someone bought at Hot Topic and stitched onto a flight suit.
Poster 3- Why does the Proton pack have number readouts on the back where the user cannot read them? What do those numbers even mean? And why are there 2 readouts? The only possible thing I can think of is one is maybe for the cyclotron power and one is for the power cell levels, but even then, why not just use a bar readout for that? The visual of seeing a bar shrink as power drains has to be easier to gauge than reading the numbers. The original Proton pack had a bar readout for the power cell and the cyclotron's lights cycled through letting you know it was working. And they didn't even really need the readouts as the power cells had a half-life of 5,000 years.
And why does it have a radiation symbol on it? I know why it should be there, but you probably shouldn't be advertising you have an unlicensed nuclear accelerator on your back. And why does it have a heart in the middle of it? Did Egon have a little jolly roger skull on his pack? No, because Egon is a professional. As the man himself said "The Proton Pack is not a toy."
Poster 4- I assume that is the new PKE Meter and not some sort of a gun with a readout screen or a ghost trap. Why is it so huge? The original was compact, had an efficient readout screen and did it's job. And what's with the caution striping? Does this emit radiation too?
