I think some aspiring psychology student will need to do a study on the types of people that will actually be attending this movie, as I cannot fathom how anybody, from any walk of life would find this movie appealing. This has atrocity written all over it.

Trust me, this appeals to some people for political (i.e. Gender Identity) reasons.

(And for those same political reasons, many reviewers will go soft on the movie. Just watch)

It can look like the biggest POS movie in the world, and certain people are still going to be positive and support it.

It can actually be the biggest POS movie ever and most reviewers won't dare say so.

You may be right. I know I won't be offering any well thought out criticism about the film, but that's entirely due to the fact that I refuse to see it.

Are women such a down-trodden segment of society that a "girl power" movie instantly garners a free pass? I don't know, but I hold out hope that critics will give this the thrashing it deserves, male and female critics alike.

Might be too much to hope for, but I'm a hopeless optimist.
