I think Kamurakura (or whatever Snake Eyes' apprentice's name is) is with Snake Eyes on the ropes fighting the Red Ninjas.

I see where you'd think that with the yellow and black (the Sigma 6 figure), but unless they made Kamakura a chick, no. But it doesn't look like Jinx either, who we see training with SE, blindfolded which is why I was wondering if it was a "movie" take on Helix.

Yeah after checking out the trailer in HD I can see its a chick. That would be strange choice for Jinx though. I suppose that might be an effort to make her different than the Red Ninjas in that scene.

I assumed it was Jinx. You see her training with SE earlier so it'd make sense for them to do ninja ops in the field together.

While they're fun movies, Wanted and Salt were highly unbelievable. She wouldn't be able to dish out that much damage, let alone, take it with how frail and skinny she is.

I guess he is at the time in his career to go for the $$$$ grab. They all do it at about his age for example DeNiro's Rocky and Bullwinkle.

Kara ain't that bright to begin with. But one better than starting from scratch is killing off everything that made the first flick a turd.

So you agree with me Yeah, I think this is the next best thing. I just saw the trailer for the first time yesterday, and I do think it has a much better vibe than the trailer for the first film. No ectoplasmic green globs destroying historical monuments is a good start, plus they've got all my favorite characters--Flint, Lady Jaye, Firefly, Zartan, Storm Shadow, and Snake Eyes. Stevenson, Rock, and Willis are fine casting moves. Tone seems slightly grittier and more legitimately realistic/militaristic as far as PG-13 fare goes (as opposed to the fantasy/Sci-Fi vibe of the entire first film), no Wayan brother, no stupid looking Destro or CC (if CC is the Viper guy, he doesn't look stupid anymore). I'm not excited or overly optimistic, but I'll probably check this one out of DVD.

Because he represents a good part of what was wrong in the first film. He was supposed to die in the cartoon anyway, so it's not like this idea of killing him off is anything new.

Because the actor sucks balls and killing off the character instantly makes this a more palatable movie.

I kinda wish we'd see Marlon Wayans' Ripcord get his head blown off, too. Or hear that he died on a toilet or something. But at least he 's not in it at all. Same with Chris Eccelston's supremely unmanly Destro.

I have to admit this has me mildly excited. The first film was so bad it literally has no words to fully describe it but this one at least from the trailers looks good. Skeptical but excited.
