Yeah Zartan really sucked as did Destro the ep. before, but I like the new Dreadnoks look, just not how they were used.
Snake Eyes had some great fight scenes, but he's extremely overused and I'm getting a little sick of him.

...that, and "prolly" new figures coming this summer to a toystore near you! :lol

You you can bet on that.

And I agree that Snake Eyes has been the go to character to much in this show. I still like him and thought the

Scene where Zartan takes his mask, they all gasp and Zartan puts it back sying you need it more than I do

was kinda funny.

What I don't get is all the Joes walking around in body armor and no one bats an eye. The trench makes sense for Snake trying to blend in with the civilians.

Yeah because so many people are walking around with a black mask and visor that those allow him to blend in. :rotfl

I've tried giving this show a chance, but I just can't seem to get into it. I guess the crazy characters and outfits of the 80s version just can't be normalized into a modern show. :dunno

Totally agree, I think the show by itself is strong and gets even better when SE is on screen. I cant wait for hasbro to release the toys for the show and I wouldnt mind picking up season 1 on dvd. A great show.

Loving the trench coat also on SE. :D

Update guys I got some bad news. Well it seems Clement Suave has recently passed away from Cancer. If you dont know who he is, hes the character designer for Gi-Joe Renegades. I found out from a friend on Deviant Art this morning. I posted a link to his page a few weeks back in this thread, but i'll post it again. A great guy and great art from this guy. He will be missed.

Again heres teh link to his deviant art page.

RIP friend

I liked his designs too. They were quite different, but a nice breather from all of the Bruce Timm clones out there...
