Dude, now im really confused...if they make an Alien 'PF' that would technically be a maquette. I think the term Premium Format has lost it's meaning.

Premium Format is mixed medium and not only cloth. I suspect this will actually be a maquette like the Alien Warrrior.

This is GREAT news! I just hope they make the head look like the original when it was new. Pretty much just like the 1:2 Giger bust they sold.

This will be interesting. SSC has done the Alien/s VERY well so far.

I imagine Sideshow has read the comments about the HT Alien and don't want to go down that road when to comes to accuracy.

I would hope Sideshow has read the comments and ready themselves for the challenge of making it the best it can be.

The lines between PF and maquette are blurry. The General Grievous PF is all polystone, unless you include the cape for the EX version.

I wouldn't think so... if what you really want is a 1/6 action figure, then you don't have much choice.
Not many people have the funds or inclination to buy high end statues.
If it looks good, this'll be my first statue-type of collectible.
