"stupid guy in brown hood" .... ZARTAN!!! HE and the Dreadnaughts would be some of my prized figures if they made them!!!!

Yeah, I'm talking more about head sculpts. Once you get past the obvious ninjas, ninja commandos, Cobra Commanders, assorted Vipers, Officers, and Guards, Firefly, Destro, and the guy with stupid, brown hood--

What ?!?!?!?! Zartan was the greatest cobra ever...The master of disguise,the assassin of the Hard Master ,the Blind Master, and of course he killed the Cobra Emperor,Serpentor.He was the reason why Snake -eyes feud with Storm-Shadow for so many years...He built the Dreadnaughts empire all by himself and was viewed as one of the most dangerous cobras ever.

And his action figure was awesome !!!

For some people,like me, the Gi joe ARAH lore, is even better than Star Wars Mythos, and a line of 12'' figure by Sideshow would be F'n Awesome !!!!

I would love for this to happen. I still have all my old G.I.JOE vehicles but sold the 3 3/4" figures because they were starting to come apart. I'd buy most if not all these figures. Like:

Alpine

Dusty

Mutt

Recondo

Roadblock

Snowjob

Spirit

Stalker

Cobra

Destro

Storm Shadow

Yes, but would it be a brown hood or long, flowing brown locks? Was it a hood? So, what, Zartan's really bald? This is what we need to think about...there are too many variables that could make the figures suck poo. Well, as long as he came with the Jesus mask and changed to blue in sunlight!

And what would Cobra Commander look like under the mask? Mutant Cobra-La face or the Frank Zappa-Used Car Salesman look from the Marvel comics? Again, it would be so hard to get it perfectly correct.

No Cobra-La ruined the cartoon for me. If they made the commander I would go for the look of the old 12" figure with the cloth covering his nose and mouth.

This is my most wanted line ever.

In fact, I'd give up all my other 1:6 figures for a good GIJOE ARAH line.

Hehe well when Palisades (sniff, i miss them) made the Joe busts, they did a pretty good job translating the cartoon likenesses into 3D versions. Yeah, they were still a bit toonish but I wouldn't mind that. It also wouldn't be too hard for a talented sculptor to make them look like a real person either. I'm fine with whatever... just give them to me!

Yep, the Roadblock was an excellent example of what can be done. Cartoonish, yet realistic enough and it translated well into a clean, 3D form. Clearly, one of my favorite Joes. Anyone remember the episode where Roadblock jumps onto the back of a tractor trailor filled with groceries?

Girl: Whatsit to you, Jack?
Roadblock: Cause I'm hungry, I'm a gourmet chef and my name ain't Jack--It's ROADBLOCK. I'M G.I. JOE!!!

I say that before every BBQ!

LOL, I think that was our earliest introduction to that character and there's no better way to start a BBQ than with that quote!

Ouch, you ain't kidding. I think the closest hasbro was gonna get was the KB exclusive BAZOOKA figure that didn't ever make it to the toy shelves.
